I wouldn't recommend it.
Manager (Former Employee) –  MaineJanuary 23, 2019
In general this company gives zero work/life balance as you are expected to work crazy hours (most days are 9-12 hours, sometimes more) without proper compensation or time off. As a manager there are extremely high expectations with zero support staff or support from upper management. The working environment, while good in some ways as there are some truly awesome people there, can feel like a popularity contest and those who are part of the 'in' clique are more likely to advance.

Entrepreneurial Hospitality Company in Southern Maine
Manager (Current Employee) –  Kennebunkport, MEJuly 23, 2018
While there are many options for hospitality jobs in southern Maine, it is rare to find a company as entrepreneurial and career driven as the Kennebunkport Resort Collection. I never imagined that I would be able to have a full-time, year round hospitality career in such a seasonal market, but the KRC showed me otherwise. At the end of the day, hard work pays off and I believe that this company recognizes hard work and rewards it accordingly.
Pros
Collaborative Environment
Cons
Seasonal Market

Great Place To Work
Accounting Manager (Current Employee) –  Kennebunk, MENovember 3, 2017
Absolutely love working here, but the nature of the business is such that in the Fall and Winter work slows down to the point of hardly any work at all to do. I must be kept busy at all times.
Pros
Laid back environment
Cons
Fall/Winter hours slow right down (6 months)

Upper management lacking
employee (Former Employee) –  Kennebunkport, MEMay 24, 2017
This company seeks to hire fresh, young people who are willing to make around $25K. If you can stomach the pay, you might be promoted eventually. Or not. For professionals outside of the network, it is not possible to be compensated fairly until you 'pay your dues' within the company. Frustrating that there is a fair amount of talent within the company, but employees are not encouraged to rise to their potential, which would ultimately benefit the entire corporation. Upper management doesn't seem to get it. When unrealistic (below average nationally, and even locally) compensation is set, morale is low and the psyche spreads. Lower level employees are not valued, and it shows in their work.
Pros
Some talented mid level employees. Some beautiful locations.
Cons
Failure to recognize employee loyalty and talent.
