Enjoy the residents but otherwise feel like I’m spinning my wheels going nowhere after five yes in.
I feel under appreciated. If I can’t work a shift because someone called off, I get made to feel like I’m a piece of garbage. Not to mention when I was sick, they didn’t care. They still expected me to work regardless if I was extremely ill or not. I called off and got atttiude for it. The management sucks and they don’t care about you or your well being. The only good things about this job are the residents and the pay. Everything else SUCKS.
Working with the individuals is rewarding but that's about it.
I loved going in for the residents. However, management is bipolar. I tried helping the resident when she needed to go to the emergency room, as directed by th RN in charge, and got reprimanded for it.
Love working 5 days a week need time to get appts. in
