This facility is severely understaffed and has been for months. There is no concern from management for lack of employees or supplies to actually do your job. You will be required to do the work of 2 to 3 and dont dare speak up about it because then you'll have a target on your back and they will move swiftly to get rid of you. This place is a joke DO NOT WORK HERE OR PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH STAFF TO PROPERLY CARE FOR THE RESIDENTS NOR DO THEY CARE.

This place is I. A nice location if you live in the Killeen area new campus and the inside the facility is nicer than other homes in the area I’ve been there almost 30 days and as a new nurse I would not recommend there staffing is terrible so this is not a great learning experience you are thrown to the floor with whatever you have comfortable or not with 20+ Residents to be accountable for not just patient care where talking new admits to keep the money flowing send outs anything you can think of which further takes you away from patient care you will mostly likely be the only nurse on the floor of 4 halls tending to needy residents and family member management as not a clue of what they are doing but wigs that know nothing about patient care trying to call shots is it best for the residents though? The care is terrible because you may only have one cna as a new nurse definitely would not recommend not because of the hard work but because of the lack genuine experience from management
Charge Nurse LPN in Killeen, TX

Working at Killeen nursing and rehab was quite an experience. The turnover was none like I've ever seen before. I lasted about 100 days there and was one of 11 nurses that quit. The management was awful. The staffing was awful. The care was awful. Comminication and accountability was nonexistent. State surveyors were the about 5-6 times, during my stay, related to staff and resident complaints.

I worked for this company for 6 months and am currently PRN. Despite the negative reviews, the management are not bad people. They do care for their staff and must discipline those who do not do their jobs. It is part of their job description. There is room for advancement with this facility. The building is clean and beautiful. The residents are happy. The insurance benefits are not great, but this will improve with time. Overall it is a good place to work.
