The best team in Greenville

Kinetic is one of the best companies around. 100% therapist owned and operated makes it a fun, family-friendly environment. It is evident that they value each team member. Compensation and benefit packages are very fair.

I came as an intern and never left

This is such a great place to be. I did an internship here and learned so much. The whole mindset is different here and patients and therapists are always put first. There are weekly trainings and many leaning opportunities. I have a very fair caseload and everything is going so smoothly. I highly recommend Kinetic. A lot of the current staff were interns and loved the company.

What is the best part of working at the company?The benefits are excellent compared to any other contract company. Paid sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays. The owners are easy to reach and genuinely care about your happiness/wellbeing. They will offer supply stipends and provide continuing ed opportunities periodically. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The demands of school-based speech therapy in general, which is not in David and Shondell's control. They will ask for feedback and offer ways to support you as possible, though.

Leadership is readily accessible and SUPPORTIVE

It’s rare that you have a job where you can text senior leadership and owners and get an almost immediate response. The owners are therapists and keep a close watch on the pulse of the company and every team member. During my first month people checked in on me nearly everyday. Communication is frequent and is two way. They listen to my input. Great place to work. Great for new professionals.

A Rare Find

I have never seen such a diverse and balanced company as Kinetic. From the ownership down to the entry level staff, diversity and inclusion is made to be of great importance. Money and benefits are great snd a necessity, but the team spirit, the feeling of belonging and being part of an organization that gives back to the community is the most important. They surprise us with small unexpected acts of kindness, gift cards and thank you messages. There are staff recognition shout outs several times a week. I feel valued and see myself here a long time.

Pros

Support, strong leadership, great benefits, lower stress than big companies, diversity

Cons

None really. We do work hard and sometimes it can be much, but they always listen and respond with solutions.

Great company to work for overall!

I have been working for Kinetic as a contract SLP in the schools for 6-7 years! They have been great compared to other contract companies. Very supportive owners and supervisors. They give you independence if they know that you are doing your job :) Always sending nice emails, messages, candy, etc to help us feel appreciated. I would highly recommend this company!

Pros

-Supportive supervisors and owners, -Good salary, -Good benefits for 10 month employees, -Options to work in the summer if you work at a school, -Variety of places to work or other options if you need a change, -Great school hours and holidays, -Great full time and part time options, -Lots of flexibility for growing family or new mom :)

Big Enough to Be Secure, But Small Enough the Owners Know Everyone

Kinetic has been great. They recently expanded to include Social Work professionals. The interview process was smooth and I was able to talk to other team members. Orientation was thorough and detailed and the team leaders and even senior management followed up to check on me. A Big Thumbs Up to Kinetic! It is a diverse, fun, professional, big family!

Great management who will support you.

It can be hard to work as a contractor in a school but Kinetic gives you the support you need. They are very receptive to feedback. They have great orientation and continuing education opportunities.

Great Team Support, Very Manageable Workload

I have been with Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness since my Clinical Fellowship year (4.5 years in total) and I have had a very positive experience. As a CF I was provided with great support and training. My team and direct supervisor continue to provide support as needed; however, I feel very independent and this company does not micro-manage. My caseload and overall workload are very manageable and it has been easy to maintain a work-life balance. One of the best things about Kinetic is that I feel like they truly value me as an employee and care about my well-being. I would highly recommend Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness for both CF and CCC-SLPs!

STRESSFUL. Good benefits, poor management & stability

Poor management, owners are great but supervisors are poor at the district level, micro management, poor communication. Comparable to a game of telephone with multiple people, wrong info, delayed info, ineffective and inefficient. Poor job stability if working as contractor in schools and district hires directly.Good benefits and pay.Good orientation program.

Good company to work for. I would recommend especially if you are a CF as you will get great training.

Great company to work for and I do think that you get really good training especially as a CF. The team members are also very supportive. I would recommend if you are looking for a job that will give you good experience and training.

Cons

Pay could be a bit better for a CF Lots of paperwork working in the school system

Great team and great support

Kinetic is a great place to work. We are valued as therapist with the diverse skills and views we bring to every work day. Additionally, we are seen as more than employees but as family so there is support when "life happens". The culture of the clinic and the group of people JUST WORK!

flexible schedule, support for continuing education, willingness to support specialization to help the clinic grow

Cons

small locally owned company so time off is less than I've had at compared to with other companies

Thank you for the kind feedback! We offer up to 26 paid days off per year, even for ten month staff. We certainly will review the paid time off policy and again appreciate the review.

I highly recommend Kinetic PT and Wellness.

I am very satisfied with my employer. They are very supportive, and treat employees fairly. The benefits are great. The hardest part of my job is keeping up with paperwork. The best part is engaging with students, teachers, parents, and other related service providers. It's always wonderful to see the students make progress! Y

Productive, Family Friendly workplace

The day begins with answering phones, messages and the fax. Checking in patients and taking copays, scheduling and rescheduling patients. Confirming patients and filing information. The hardest part of my job was the stress of insurance. The best part of my job was the experience in the field of my future career.
