Learning Disability Teacher (Former Employee) –  VirginiaOctober 9, 2018
King George was a great school system to start in. They supported my anxiety of being a new teacher, and got me comfortable with teaching. They provided ample professional development, but the commute was very exhausting.

Not somewhere i would run back to for work unless I have no other choice :) Working wit staff there was difficult. If you are not at their level (teacher) then they treat you like an idiot.

always something new and interesting in each classroom
Substitute Teacher (Former Employee) –  King George, VAAugust 6, 2017
Never a dull moment working with students of all ages. Everyone I worked with was professional and willing to help whenever the need arose. I learned how to manage a classroom, to maintain order and to provide for a safe learning environment for everyone in the class. Working with students and seeing when they "got it" was the most enjoyable part of the job.

Elementary School Teacher (Former Employee) –  King George, VAJuly 2, 2016
It was enjoyable to bring education to a classroom which had a variety of educational needs. The other grade level teachers were helpful as we shared lesson plan ideas. The days began with preparation for the lessons, teaching the subjects, assessing the work and continue my education.
Pros
teaching students with a variety of needs
Cons
the frequently changing expectations in the classroom
