Spend some real time in the classrooms in South LA. Understand the culture of south LA and East LA students are completely different. Know that there is no one size fits all to education. It's also unnecessary for ghe work day to be as long as it is as well as there are far to many kids on the classroom. The schools need standards not just a drop off and no accountability.

Treat all employees with professional respect, pay attention to their needs, provide real-time human resources support. Spend less funds on endless T-shirts and "swag" and more on hiring and retaining quality personnel.
