Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club
A good company and definitely there is growth. As a part time employee there is no paid vacation or paid holiday. You do receive paid sick time once it's accumulated. Pay is semi-monthly (2x a month) on the 15th and 31st. A warm and welcoming environment but there is favoritism.

Not fun to work
Job is very biased , only way to get promoted if somebody likes you in management , really bad management and owners. Aquatics is the only good place

Decent starting job
Working at kips bay is a decent starting job but there is very little room for growth no matter how long you work there. Pay is decent for college students as well. If you are in college and need a flexible job this is a solid place to apply too, just be warned not every kips bay site operates in the same way.

Ghetto and unorganized
This job should be for teenagers or college students. This organization is highly unorganized and has very tense work culture. Management creates a culture of favoritism and minimal regard for the children serviced.

Productive and respectful place to work.
Working with children taught me alot of patience and understanding for others and their home life experiences. Spending time with children was self rewarding and gave me alot of a pride.
