The team really cares, and there is so much support from the beginning! I love that I get to work individually with students and create my own schedule. Together with the teachers, the family, and the Knowledge Road team, I have been able to make a real impact for my students!

Wouldn't Recommend.. Poor Communication

Newer company so there are some tweaks they are still working out. Management is not the greatest due to poor communication. Definitely not a company for a new grad, anyone transitioning into this practice setting w/o experience, or anyone who needs extra support. Lack of communication between management resulting in extended waiting period for next steps/start dates, delayed email responses, and missed monthly meetings set up by the company with no communication about rescheduling or inability to attend. The school placements are okay however. People have asked how I like it and I honestly haven't recommended this company to my peers solely based on communication. Documentation system is an app, desktop version as well. Kinda glitchy sometimes. Short hours due to very very small caseloads. Not really a full time job unless you enjoying visiting 5 different schools a week throughout the Burroughs while also considering time for makeup sessions in person.

Short hours, management, no support, no benefits, minimal school placement options, no growth

I appreciate Knowledge Road

SETSS provider (Current Employee) - Remote - January 4, 2023

This is my other SETSS agency that I work with. They have been flexible and that has been great. They are very responsive. The only con is that payments cannot go through automatically once you have gotten the invoice signed. You have to wait until the next Thursday at least, which is stressful when parents are late signing your invoices.

Independent SETSS Provider’s Dream Position

I’ve only been with Knowledge Road for a short time, yet it’s been truly exceptional thus far. Management, to payroll and everyone in between: it’s a pleasant company to work for as a licensed Special Education teacher like myself. Hours are reflective of my homeschooling responsibilities as a parent, onboarding process was smooth.Highly recommend this company!

I love the collaboration that happens and the amount of focused work time I get. The people I have met here actually care about servicing students and getting better at their craft.

Flexible work schedule!

Independent Provider (Current Employee) - Manhattan, NY - March 1, 2022

I love that I get to work 1:1 with my students. I feel way more productive and essential as an educator. I am only responsible for the students on my caseload. Once I have provided their interventions, I am free to go. There are no extra duties assigned by the school either. Having been a full-time classroom teacher for 7 years, I really love the flexibility that being an independent provider allows.

Staff provides support with resources to allow productive instruction sessions for students . Computer , remote literate , consultant services for tech issues if needed . Friendly , kind , and caring for their teachers and students they service .
