Please start to organize more your store! Specially the ones in Massachusetts,You can’t have people from Beauty department and Jewelry covering breaks all the time or running to to cash registers every time is busy! Because people from Beauty and Jewelry do have their own costumers and things to do too!! It’s just not fair!!! Hire more cashiers, and hire more jewelry people!!!

Make upper management accountable for their actions. There are no huddles and no communication. Not enough department coverage during the day or for recovery. Too much favoritism show to certain employees, more hours, lunches, do not have to go to the register, answer phones or help customers and do not work nights. Certain employees do not have to follow rules. Dress code is inappropriate. Managers in the office all the time and not answering employees guestions. Stating Do I need to come up there?, Is a customer waiting?, Is that something I have to handle? Or not answering at all. Not getting breaks or others getting breaks when they have only been there an hour or two when other employees have been there for hours or having to wait because there is no one on the floor to cover. Never getting recognized. Only possible who get credit. Never being thanked , only being told what you have done wrong. When you try to communicate with upper management your hours get cut

Make sure your store managers are complying with state labor laws with regard to employees ages 16 and 17. An employee handbook and some formal training would be very helpful for the new recruits and would also benefit Kohl's with regard to employee retention. Make sure the managers are following through with the 30 day employee "touchbase." Make sure KRONOS works properly and employees can request variations in their schedule using the app instead of having to leave notes on the manager's desk. Ask managers to work the floor, side by side, with the employees instead of congregating up in the lunch room together. Make sure managers are responding to employee questions and requests over the radio. Place a security guard at each door (usually 2) to help the immense loss / theft that happens in these stores. Cameras in the stock room is a really good idea as well.

Honestly take time to change music. Inform managers the correct information from higher positions. Make sure the higher management work on the floor to really understand the sales point ofview with customers.
