Productive, busy and very competitive and it comes to running the lines
Production Worker (Current Employee) –  Dover, DEJanuary 30, 2019
I really do like my job. I have always wanted to work for this company. The pace in the factory is very high skilled. You learn a lot from working on multiple lines that are not the same and running different products

Implemented the project on time
Project Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 28, 2019
Responsibilities included Identifying the task definition, Stakeholders and participating department representatives.
Got and estimate based on previous prototype work done.
Decided to do in batches as the system is live and can not be cut-off. Done Task estimation and communication plan.
Established Cycle of execution with various groups involved.
While processing the data from easy clients, followed up with those who are not familiar /comfortable with by explaining emails, phone calls and walk-ins.
Estimated half way through, work done against time remaining, and implemented a faster method to get responses from business users.

Corporate Management Intern-Supply Chain Team (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 18, 2019
Challenging environment with long hours, there is a lot of turnover but overall employees are treated nicely. A lot of room for growth right off the bat.

Fast paced, good for young employees
NA (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 2, 2019
Great company to advance quickly and learn for young employees. Down side to this type of environment is that non-leaders get put into leadership positions and it negatively impacts company culture and priorities. Overall great company to work for despite the negative public perception of non-growing food cpg companies.

Cost Cutting Has Crippled The Culture and Brand Innovation Lacking!
Plant Manager (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILMarch 29, 2019
Very long unappreciated days, Corporate provides no real assistance to factories and continue to eliminate roles and set unrealistic goals without providing resources or capital for failing infrastructure. Turnover and employee stress is at an all time high. This is quite frankly the worst position nowadays all the pressure is applied on PM's there is no fun in being bullied into committing to goals that haven't been achieved in over 5years. Unhealthy culture and practices is eroding iconic brands and lying to shareholders.

Good challenging place to work
IT Manager (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILDecember 1, 2018
A challenging place to work with good opportunities to learn and grow. I find the politics and bureaucracy still overwhelming here to where it can turn people off. It is common in large organizations and Kraft Heinz is no different.

Intelligent people, good culture, but can be frustrating at times. Overly focused on "staying in the lines" from an IT and creativity perspective. There is a Kraft Heinz way of doing the work and no real option for doing things differently. Almost to a fault is my feeling. We also are have a clique at the top side and you are either in it or not. Little room for disagreement/friction in IT.
Pros
Smart people, OK tools
Cons
Unrealistic work-life balance to achieve as much work with as little funding, Bureaucracy still exists despite 3G

Used to be a great company
Sales (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILOctober 26, 2018
In all areas it feels chaotic and mismanaged. I left with little confidence they could promote their way out of the hole created when talent and years of experience all left for greener pastures after the acquisition. 3G has all but destroyed what used to be one of the best cultures and families to be a part of in the CPG industry.

Corporate Management Intern (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILOctober 23, 2018
Little work life balance. Be prepared for how zero based budgeting will affect the culture. The company is very upfront about the fact that the culture is not for everyone. As an intern, I worked 60 hour weeks.
Pros
Great compensation, lots of vacation
Cons
No perks, long hours

This place is a nightmare
Senior Manager, Operations (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILAugust 24, 2018
There is no training, no "Leadership", just Management- which most have very little people skills. They run off of fear and intimidation. I am shocked this place is rated well on Indeed. Turnover rate is the highest I have ever seen in a company, ever. I would advise to not turn away from this company, but run away. Don't even consider it.
Pros
High Pay, great views in office.
Cons
Everything else. How is this place rated ok on Indeed?? its horrid.

No longer an employer of choice
Procurement Manager (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILAugust 24, 2018
Kraft Heinz culture has really gone down since the merger. There is no work/life balance and lots of pressure to work an extended number of hours to keep up with the workload. Raises are non-existent. This company is no longer an employer of choice.
Pros
Employee Store
Cons
No raises in a few years, no work/life balance

Management was very weak and changes were not properly communicated. Working and integrating with different business units was very difficult. However since being first job after college I got to learn many different things.

Though place to work, but if you make it, there isn't a better place
HR Director (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 25, 2018
Though place to work, but if you make it, there isn't a better place. If you expect an environment where there will be hand holding and beautiful camaraderie, you are going to be disappointed. If you are the best at what you do, have extremely high learning agility, and are a long term thinker, you will make it.

As bad as it gets - stay away at all costs
Procurement (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 5, 2018
Kraft Heinz is, by far, the most toxic business I've ever worked for. A few examples:

-Overall compensation looks competitive until you realize that bonuses are tied to nearly unattainable goals.

-Management is not at all receptive to teams needs.

-Turnover is constant, and nearly everything is a broken mess due to this lack of continuity.

-Sycophants and short-term thinkers are not only tolerated but encouraged.

-The company is playing defense on most of its consumption categories as tastes change. Leadership pledges commitment to innovation, but then refuses to invest sufficiently in it.

-The sheer workload is immense. Most functions endure at least 10-hour days and will still find themselves behind.

-A select few will get promoted quickly, but this is more so because of astronomical turnover than meritocracy.

I would exhaust all other options before considering Kraft Heinz.

Great company to grow fast
HR Director (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILMay 16, 2018
Great company to grow faster than any other organization, lots of opportunity to build your own story, failure is allowed as long as you don't repeat your mistakes. Love the fact you are surrounded by smart people that makes you look for the best every day.
Pros
Fast growth and fast paced environment.
Cons
Long working hours, more opportunity for the inexperienced, less for the professional seasoned ones.
