It depends on the job. Every 6 months of working there you get a 50¢ raise. The only people who don’t get it is the baggers, but that’s being voted on in my state soon to change.

Not usually. The only things to get promoted to would be acsm if you're front end, or a department head if you're in a department. And those positions are already held, so unless one of them leaves, there aren't any promotional openings. If you get into their management system, then yes, as some managers start out as regular employees.
