I filled out an application through indeed. In less then a week the sent me an email saying to call them. I did so. The hiring manager asked me two questions, after giving me run down about the position. I was then asked to come in for an interview scheduled for three days after. He literally just asked me three questions: what I did at my previous employment (what was it like), do I know how to bake (I applied for a bakery clerk) and lastly, my availability. After, He said he would contact within a week time. He didn't. I call him and he said he would call me back. He didn't. So I went into the store the following day and asked to speak with him. I confronted him and he said to come in on Tuesday to fill out the paperwork.... Guess I'm hired lol

After a couple of days I just gave up never heard from anyone again.

Its a very laid back interview, but of course it does depend on the interviewer.

I submitted an application online at the kroger website, and within a couple weeks I got an email requesting for an over the phone interview. They give you the times when you can call, and when you do you are redirected to a hiring agent. They review your information that you provided and then give you info on the pay and the duties you will perform for that job. If you are happy with it, then they will ask you 3 short questions, which were: what would you do if a customer is upset about an item being out of stock, how would you provide good customer service, and a personal challenge you had to overcome. Then if you pass, they give you times for an in-person interview at the store you applied at. They were quite flexible for me which was great, and when you go to the interview (business casual), they ask you similar customer service questions as well as some about yourself. Then, they will ask for a background check (SS #) and an oral drug test. If you are under 18, you need to have a parent fill out paperwork to allow them to give you the drug test. You'll get your results within a week and then you will start working. Hope this helps!

Well, I submitted a resume through indeed and they emailed me and asked me to fill out an application if I was interested. I call the number that they listed, to see if the position was still open. The email they sent me was four days old. They told me it was still open, so I filled out an application and within a few hours they called me for an interview. I went to the interview, and she gave me a tore. It was quick and she was brief. She took me to a private room were she asked me a few questions and gave me an on-the-spot drug test and took my picture and I was hired..
