Its a very laid back interview, but of course it does depend on the interviewer.
I applied online and got a email a couple weeks later about a phone interview, the phone interview consisted of 2 questions then they told me to come in for a in person interview, I went in for the interview the manager asked me a few questions then I was hired, they started the background check process, got a call the next day to come in and fill out the new hire paperwork I was then told to wear a black shirt and black pants.. Currently still going through the hiring process I already got the job just going through the process..
I went to an open house interview and got chosen to attend the group interview! From there they evaluate the group and hire who they think is the best candidate for the job!

I submitted an application online at the kroger website, and within a couple weeks I got an email requesting for an over the phone interview. They give you the times when you can call, and when you do you are redirected to a hiring agent. They review your information that you provided and then give you info on the pay and the duties you will perform for that job. If you are happy with it, then they will ask you 3 short questions, which were: what would you do if a customer is upset about an item being out of stock, how would you provide good customer service, and a personal challenge you had to overcome. Then if you pass, they give you times for an in-person interview at the store you applied at. They were quite flexible for me which was great, and when you go to the interview (business casual), they ask you similar customer service questions as well as some about yourself. Then, they will ask for a background check (SS #) and an oral drug test. If you are under 18, you need to have a parent fill out paperwork to allow them to give you the drug test. You'll get your results within a week and then you will start working. Hope this helps!
They would ask you some questions about the job and they would make you do a drug test
They go over some things bout safty and what they would expect from u as an employee and family member... They also did my drug test mouth swab right then
Well, I submitted a resume through indeed and they emailed me and asked me to fill out an application if I was interested. I call the number that they listed, to see if the position was still open. The email they sent me was four days old. They told me it was still open, so I filled out an application and within a few hours they called me for an interview. I went to the interview, and she gave me a tore. It was quick and she was brief. She took me to a private room were she asked me a few questions and gave me an on-the-spot drug test and took my picture and I was hired..
I was asked questions and took test that were related to my job.
