8-6 is a typical work day and can fly by like nothing. Especially with co-workers all being super nice and having a fun sense of humor. If you build a pipeline, you can keep yourself busy at all times and wont get stuck at your desk. I've learned that this job will give back as much as you put into it. The management has been very generous with additional spiffs to help the Sales Floor push to the next level. Times can be stressful if the month is slow but with no ceiling on how much you can make, it really helps keep the confidence up and keep you moving up the ladder!

Pros

Lots of Opportunities to make extra cash, Hour Lunch Breaks, Everyone is always willing to help/Explain something

Cons

Occasional late hours, MUST be able to budget for a possible slow month, Market's always changing

Fun environment to work in & a great place to better yourself personally

I have enjoyed my time at Kruse Motors very much. What has really stood out to me is the opportunity to grow. Many years ago I started cleaning cars as a detailer with no expectations in mind. I had the opportunity to move into the Sales Department after 6 months and that was the best decision I have ever made. I have since bettered myself personally as well as financially. I would recommend to anyone that is interested to give Kruse Motors a chance. You may just find a fulfilling lifetime career that is fun and enjoyable!

Pros

Co-workers, On-site Training, and Fun Work Days

Great Place to Work

I have worked for Kruse Motors for Several years now, this is not only a great place to work but provides incredible opportunity for growth. After starting my career in sales I was able to advance all the way to the General Sales Manager position. This organization allowed me the opportunity to make a great income and has a great atmosphere. The work is never the same and even the challenging days are fun. Great Team and even better ownership.

Hated the atmosphere

Fired me in less than 30 days because “we just don’t vibe and other reasons we won’t go into detail about”. If you don’t have t&a or a last name that carries any significance in Marshall, don’t even bother. In their eyes, you won’t vibe and there’s nothing you can bring to the table for them. Very clique-ish. They don’t explain how salary works and when they say guaranteed $3000/month salary for first three months, that’s a lie. No wonder why they have such high turnover on employees.

Worst place I’ve ever been employed at.

Starting pay aswell as their commission system is garbage, inventory was lackluster, finance department is full of the biggest snobs I’ve ever met in my life, management is poor, detail department is slow and unpredictable, and even the mechanics are garbage, especially the lead tech. They gave up training me a week in and left me to just shadow the other salesman. They set their expectations brutally high from the get-go, and will quite literally make fun of you for not performing. Workspace is unprofessional, didn’t even get an office. Just a GLASS CUBICLE and a literal dinner table, surrounded by the noise of costumers and staff. Only the top dogs get an actual cubicle and desk. Selling is hard due to absurd mark-ups unless you quite literally have no soul and enjoy scamming people. Had multiple instances of people needing to return vehicles due to the shop’s incompetence which, in turn, made me fearful of selling some of the budget vehicles. Their sales process is unrealistic and doesn’t account for most situations. Hours are painfully long, even though most are just playing on their phones by 4 o’clock due to not having anything to do. Your first month will be nothing but busy work and online training. They’ll give you some leads to call but they’re all dead leads that have been forgotten by the other salesman and therefore shafted over to the new guys so that they aren’t just sitting around all the time. The whole place has a very snakey, slimy vibe about it that really unsettled me. The competition may be the worst part. Want to try and make it in sales as -

Great people to work with

Most difficult part of the job was the difference on the level of cleanliness required to satisfy the job. It is understandable that management wants to get vehicles out on the lot to be able to sell easily, but there are times where management expects a full detail in short time and you are forced to do a rushed job when they expect near-perfection.

Pros

Lunches held some Fridays, Great people around the shop

Cons

Management expects too much for the number of people available, There can be many vehicles at once that are labeled as needing to be cleaned right away, Sales and management need to be more considerate on the time it takes to clean a vehicle
