While many changes have been made over the last year, they continue to maintain the status quo of inexperienced leadership promoted beyond their years and capabilities. They dictate from their offices or slack with no idea what anyone is doing. You'll have to explain multiple times the same thing while your manager sends texts to their friends instead of paying attention to a serious problem. Management has everyone scared to take time off, or even call in sick because of constant email broadcasted to everyone about how the priority is for them to be at work; passive aggressive emails about attendance has caused many of the employees to continue to come in even when sick, causing more staff to become sick in the process. This is not a hospital, but by the number of people who show up sick daily you would never know. Those part of or responsible for the many failures and terrible work environment you read about on Glassdoor or Indeed over the last several years remain, many of them in managerial slots now. Many of the people you work with will be great, knowledgeable, and a 180 from the management you will endure. A lot of this might stem from the lack of presence of the CEO, and the fact no manager has any actual power as everything must be approved by the absent CEO and parent-company which takes weeks if not months.
