Stressful place to work but a few managers know what they are doing
Dispatcher (Current Employee) – New Lenox, IL – January 30, 2018
For your first EMS job this is one of the better places to work, You can work with paramedics, run BLS emergencies, high call volume, etc. Not a place to stay for too long but gets the job done, stressful due to lack of staffing and high call volume but that is more so for inside the office, dispatching and managers, but on the streets you can average about 7-8 calls in an eight hour shift. All-in-all Not the best place to work but not horrible either, great for experience but not to stay to long. 3/5 rating
Alot of overtime to be had, good benefits
very busy, lack of communication between managers and staff
EMT-B (Current Employee) – New Lenox, IL – January 10, 2019
The company is in a state of transition, current empolyees are feeling the frustration. However, pay is drastically increasing for new hires. They are starting to offer more pay which is helpful for new personnel.
