Working at KW is fun, fast paced, love what I do and everyday theres something different and new to tackle. I would recommend this company to anyone. They care about there employees and provide opportunities to grow within the company and in the management industry.
Worst company to work for, unless you want to be a slave
employee (Current Employee) – Miami, FL – July 27, 2018
Company culture is only on their propaganda. Hard work is not recognized. Instead, hard working individuals will be exploited until they drop dead or quit. Mediocrity is what the leaders look for and butt kissing is rewarded with high honors and promotion. If you are unethical and have the car salesman culture, this is the perfect place for you. You might even get promoted!
They paint a very pretty picture, but once hired they do not support their employees. Poor or no training. Zero job security. No way to get the work done in in even 45 hours a week. You feel like your going to be fired every moment. Very bad experience.
Concierge (Current Employee) – Miami, FL – April 21, 2018
I am currently working for KWPMC. My time here has been enjoyable. The owners of the company seem to be great people and hire well. The property I have been working for has had a shortage of workers making it very hard to complete a normal daily task and has received little help from management. This job is not hard but can be overwhelming if this career is not your main focus.
Employees are not supported by upper management. They are left to build a house with three sticks that they have to bring from their own home. The client is sold the moon and the stars and receives dirt and rocks. We are people who want to give our customer the best, but without the proper support or supplies, we are to fend for ourselves and the customer is cheated. They take superstar employees and put them through the mud. Clients are not getting the services that they are paying for
The corporate team is a living contradiction of their values. They sell a false picture of trust and transparency. They don't greet everyone, there is no respect, no empowerment, no accountability, and they are not trustworthy. The HR department is run by chongas from hialeah. Upper management loves to pimp out their employees and have no compassion for the environment where those employees are put in.
...that you cannot use because you are overwhelmed with work!
applying for a painters position (Former Employee) – Miami, FL – March 29, 2018
These people are very disconnected with reality I guess none of them has ever struggled in life their positions are hand me downs from buddies. I wouldn't recommend this company if they were the last ones left on this planet terrible treatment for the working class.
evrything to even the way they treat prospects over the phones
A typical day at work would be checking emails upon arrival. Follow up with residents and manager in case of any additional work details needed. Management could have been a bit more resourceful. The hardest part of the job was sharing an office with 5 other coworkers and finishing what i had to do on time. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning and having a rich understanding of a multitude of cultures and customs.
ADMINSTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Former Employee) – Bal Harbour, FL – March 1, 2018
You will have a very poor HR contact. They are not on your side they are on the property manager side and your district manager will do nothing for you. They make their job seem like more work instead of what it is.... their JOB. Very rude and corrupt company
Your lunch break
You will feel like there is no growth for you unless you beg and stick to being managers pet
If you get employed at a property its better than being in corporate but there is no job security because they don't value their employees. If you demonstrate that you can do more they will increase your work load.
Not a place to grow, even though it is promoted that way and you will be underpaid and undermined. Typical work day is stressful and fast paced. The training was done quickly and poorly I had to learn everything I knew as a receptionist on my own through several experiences. This company prefers to make mistakes than prevent them, I have been around enough to see that when they have a good worker who performs their task like they are supposed to and do even more, they overwork them and under compensate them and then fire them because they are unable to continue to be overworked. Then when the next person being hired take the position they provide them with the amount of work they were initially meant to have. Word of warning if you come t work for this company do not perform more than you were initially hired to do they wont appreciate it and will continue to under pay you and provide you with extra work if you continue to work faster.
Manager (Current Employee) – Miami, FL – November 1, 2017
very busy environment, so if you are lazy, this is not the place for you. You must have a can-do-attitude to enjoy working for KW. You control your own destiny when it comes to growth. If you are willing to put the effort and show dedication to the industry you will grow. This is not always the case in the industry and i have worked for 2 other competitors before joining kW 2 years ago. Management is very experienced and you can learn so much about property management here. In my field, Jobs position don't come easily which is an indication of great stability.
