My Manager and the VP of finance were impossible to work for. Manager was promoted without any qualifications and consistently played favorites or pitted one employee against another. These two women ruined my life.
Typical is 1.8 - 2.5% per year. The last 12 years, there was 1 year with no raise and that was the first year of Obama presidency where new program wins were lacking. new graduates out of school get 5 in the first three years. Not sure what everyone on here is talking about never having a raise. the only people not getting raises are ones rated at the bottom 5% during yearly reviews
Lack of diversity and leadership. new employees are setup for failure if they don't fit into the social club.
Stressful and undervalued. I am not allowed to be innovative because of a culture resistance to change.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make L3Harris a better place to work?
Create a culture that values innovative thinkers and collaboration. A person should not be promoted into management because of years worked at the company. A manager must be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities. A manager should also ensure each employee is provided the tools and resources required to be successful in their role. If the manager is incapable of leading a team, this can reduce employee productivity and morale.
Also, L3Harris should re-evaluate the management hierarchy when acquiring a company or merging. Sometimes the old leadership of an acquired company doesn't properly align with L3Harris culture, values and ethnics.
