I went in for my interview, and I felt like it went great, even took in some certificates and the lady interviewing me said she’ll keep them for my file and they were going to call my references and then we would move forward. Well 3 weeks later and no call or anything, I even messaged the people I listed for my references to see if they had called yet and they never called them, so I applied again, I got called for a phone interview and I told her my situation so she said she was going to give them a call and she’d call me right back, 2 weeks after that she finally calls me back just to ask me if I was still interested I said yes and then she asked what hours I could work, she said awesome and that she’d call me back. Well she never called me back and I got an email a week after that phone call saying they were going to move forward with someone else. I was so upset. Seems very unprofessional place.

It is a typical interview process. Basic background questions are asked, knowledge of childcare is assessed, willingness to engage with the children, change diapers, clean noses, etc. However there is no proper training available.
