Great Work Environment with Kind People
Program Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMarch 25, 2019
A normal day usually consists of meetings with group members deciding next steps for various projects. Everyone is dedicated to creating positive change on campus.

The most difficult part of the job is establishing consistency within the culture we seek to cultivate at La Salle in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The most enjoyable part is being able to interact with students and get them to engage in real businesses, while increasing their knowledge of how to run a business and develop new skillsets.
Pros
Great work environment

Good People But
Faculty (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMarch 14, 2019
The University has an excellent mission that is not always followed, unfortunately. The concern over finances trumps any other concern, often at the expense of students. Outside of administration, the people you work with are wonderful.

A decent institution
Tutor (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAJuly 9, 2018
La Salle was a decent institution, but it was nothing extraordinary. Nothing at this institution sets it apart from the other institutions in the surrounding area.

Productive and fun place to work
Resident Assistant (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAJune 19, 2018
Being an RA there was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I felt it prepared me for the real world and gave me the opportunity to be a role model, as well as provide me with the platform to speak on social justice issues that affect all individuals and mold the lives of first ear students to the university.

Great Place to Work
Adjunct Professor of Philosophy (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMay 17, 2018
Relaxed atmosphere, good people and a good work environment make La Salle a great place to work. Students are friendly and laid back, the administrators are efficient but, like most universities today, there are too many of them. Still, all in all, a great place to work.

Ok job but no advancement
Security Desk Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PANovember 21, 2017
The hours are mainly night shift, checking ids, checking for alcohol that underaged college students might sneak on campus, etc. Good part time job to have for a little extra money. However there is no room or opportunity for advancement in this work environment.
Pros
easy job
Cons
never enough hours

Easy position that taught me a lot about general office duties/administrative tasks
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAJuly 18, 2017
This was a simple position I held during college, which was a work-study job. Working in different offices on campus taught me a lot about general office duties such as answering and transferring calls, filing on a database, greeting and meeting with visitors, and copying and organizing papers and files.
