Intern (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – April 20, 2016
For being somebody who was given a unique opportunity to work in a field I had yet to have major experience with, I was one of the lucky ones. This company gets a bad rep: lofty managers, uncertain leadership, and a lot of headstrong attitudes. I get it, there are some egos to check. However, what we have here is just a company evolving, progressing, and streamlining forward well into the successful future. This company has given me unprecedented access into a world I had no clue about, a world that is rather hard to get a grasp on- however with the help of understanding managers, friendly coworkers, and often goofy employees I have found myself a little comfortable home to where I can work with a full understanding of the ins and outs of the business. Let's not get overly romantic though- work is work. They want work to get done and they will get work done, however such is the philosophy for virtually every large and successful company. What I appreciate about the latter is that they want the work done, and correct but they don't mind how you get it done as long as you get it done. Freedom is what pushes this company and separates them from the rest. This company is not riddled with monsters, this company is not filled with publicly humiliating sadists. This company is growing, and just like every growing individual, there are growing pains. There were some kinks in the fabric in the past but it is apparent to see ( and you can see for yourself) that the kinks are being justly ironed out.
General and Operations Manager (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – October 27, 2015
Over forty years impressive success in the luxury service sector, running company-wide operational functions and leading large scale expansions. The company was a great place to work for at it's height in business.
