Registered Nurse (Current Employee) –  Stillwater, MNAugust 21, 2017
Everyone is very welcoming and professional. The nursing care is top notch. The providers are very knowledgable. It is a hometown feel hospital with the pay of the twin cities hospitals.

There is a great culture at Lakeview. Everyone is super friendly as soon as you walk in the building. The nurses and doctors are easy to work with and very helpful

Housekeeper (Former Employee) –  Stillwater, MNApril 5, 2017
Honestly I think this was the worst job I ever had. Overworked, people often worked through breaks and worked before they clocked in, in order to have enough time to get everything done. They would complain if you were behind if you dared to take your break. Very little supervisor support. Felt like I was in junior high with all the backstabbing. Just glad to be gone. They cannot keep staff, for very good reasons, huge turnover.

Poor Management and Communication
Patient Account Representative (Former Employee) –  Stillwater, MNDecember 6, 2016
Very poor management and communication. Work conditions were horrible. LOTS of drama. Business office manger does nothing to resolve issues within the office and just turns his head to the problems that have been on going for years.

Great co-workers
NST-ER/NST-MICU (Former Employee) –  Stillwater, MNMay 9, 2016
Work load ALWAYS more than what can REALLY be accomplished in a shift. Co-workers supportive. Management never took into consideration of your input to make things better. Most enjoyable part of the job was being able to meet, talk & explain to patients & their family members of tests, procedures etc. Never able to take a break & yet you were always asked to punch out for lunch.
Pros
Great Bennefits
Cons
Management was Inconisistant

They really mean it when they say the patient comes first.
Medical Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  Stillwater, MNJune 24, 2015
Lakeview is a place with a heart to serve the patient population with kindness, efficiency and old fashioned values. I love working here. The only criticisms I have are that because we are small, it is not immediately obvious what career paths there are and the pay is generally lower than the average in the Twin Cities.
