Lack of moral
Associate (Current Employee) –  NHJuly 2, 2018
Lack of staff value, appreciation, accountability, sincerity, communication, and lack of updated policies. Things are done based on how the day is going/how people feel at that moment. Management has become complacent, which has decreased moral for those who work hard.
Pros
Schedule
Cons
Management is too lax, prefers status quo to keep the peace

Operator/Patient Advocate (Former Employee) –  Raymond, NHMarch 4, 2018
I was hired as an operator, 32 hours a week, I was trained to be a Patient Advocate on the weekend shifts, and I filled in at the windows when someone was out, on both the check in and check out windows, while still being the operator, I enjoyed being a team player and stepping in to help where and when I was needed
Pros
working with the public
Cons
not enough hours, and lack of pay

STressful place to work, watch your back
New Patient Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Newmarket, NHJune 12, 2017
This is a very stressful place to work, there is on team work, everyone is looking out for themselves. You are treated like a 2nd class citizen if you make a mistake. Don't be surprised if a doctor screams at you, or your supervisor talks about you to another co-worker. It is a harsh environment. Plus you have sick people to deal with on top of everything else.
Pros
good benefits
Cons
Mean supervisors, screaming doctors, policy changes constantly, back stabbing coworkers, no team work

On the Fence
CMA (Current Employee) –  Raymond, NHNovember 2, 2016
This is a great company, with every company there are some issues that need to be adjusted, I was blessed enough to get my own provider so 40 hours a week I am running only one individual, the demand is very high here seeing average of 20 patients between 8-4 with a thirty min lunch. Constant change and you will need to have the strength to fix your problems on your own the upper staff is usually never around. The coworkers are the best I leave with a smile and of course there are a few who are hard to work with this isn't make believe land, since I have been there they have turned into family.
Pros
non profit, they will take care of every one, friendly staff
Cons
hard to take days off when your in charge of a provider and company seems to always be short staffed

Fast paced business, well organized. You can learn so much being around providers/doctors all day. Co-workers were very helpful and well organized. The most enjoyable part of the any day is that you know that you made a difference even if it is small to someone else it makes you feel so good inside that you did a great job.
Pros
free lunches through the drug reps
Cons
health insurance costly

Family Nurse Practitioner (Former Employee) –  Raymond, NHMarch 30, 2012
LHC has an admirable mission but not the funds to provide appropriate compensation for the work required. A great place to work if you are mission minded and do not need benefits or high salary. The team and management are very dedicated.
Pros
meaningful, caring
Cons
lower salary compared to market, more expensive health insurance
