If retention is one goal, continuing to put additional tasks on already overtaxed employees is not the answer. Also, cooperation and communication between all departments; nursing, CNA’s, activities, reception, dietary, PT, OT, Speech, etc., is poor. There appears to be a disconnect regarding teamwork.
