Account Manager (Former Employee) – Bohemia, NY – February 4, 2018
Nothing bad about this company. Had a great manager, fair and comminative. Open door policy, complimented on your work and did anything she could to help out a difficult situation. I would definitely would recommend this company to others who.are seeking employment. Only issue was alot of down time, especially after losing alot of business, & was not asked to assist in other areas.
Project Manager (Former Employee) – Bohemia, NY – September 29, 2017
All in all Lane was a great company that cared about its employees. My position was eliminated do to contract changes on the project side that I was on and downsizing on that side of the business. They did great work and unfortunately union bids change and we lost our bid.
Area Manager for GMC - Texas (Current Employee) – Houston, TX – July 10, 2016
The company has grown very fast in the last 12 years. From 60 million per year to 160 millions this past year, but they skipped processes to become that large. The company lacks guidelines on "paper", lacks procedures where everyone is aware of the same procedures. Organization is missing, where upper management makes changes without having meetings or getting input from field men or managers in the field.
Poor Organization / Lack of guidelines / procedures.
Accounts Payable Representative (Current Employee) – Bohemia, NY – April 29, 2016
Great People, very friendly. The only thing thing I wish there was more of was more of a push to succeed and grow yourself. It was a very laid back job and they didn't expect much from their employees.
Electrician (Former Employee) – Bohemia, NY – December 14, 2015
Management sends mechanics out on jobs without, materials or proper tools. No one has any idea how jobs are to be run and unrealistic completion dates for jobs . No helpers when needed . Very low moral. Don't get paid for actual time worked - they take time away from your time sheet and don't tell you!
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Bohemia, NY – October 8, 2015
Not a bad job, finally getting promoted, Can be stressful at timeS but definitely teaches you how to have a high level of patience. Several offices throughout the continental United States, I work at the headquarters located in Bohemia, New York which is a fairly small company although we have two buildings full of people everyone seems to know everyone. Big time sports fans at this company, pretty much everyone is a Giants or Islanders fan.
