Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Wayne, PA – October 19, 2018
Laser Spine Institute is a great place of work. The atmosphere and culture of the place is full of positivity. The work/life balance and incentives and opportunities make it an awesome place to work. I've had opportunities to travel to other facilities multiple times which was a great experience. They were always supportive and attentive when it came to any issues that an employee may have had.
Manager - IT Support Services (Former Employee) – Tampa, FL – October 7, 2018
No position lasts more than a year. Too much turnover in management, so every new manager wants to change things and bring in their people. As a result, no stays steady and neither do the employees. What they do for peoples back issues are great, just the senior management is not invested.
If there were any, id still be there
Management is full of people that should have never been managers, ever.
The company offers great hours and pay for strenuous work that causes the damages they treat. Makes sense for a majority of their workforce to be "recovered" patients from their procedures. If you're a seasoned employee there or can adapt to their incredulous regulations to maintain employment, you'll love it. It's all about who you know to make sure you don't have any problems. Real skills aren't required.
Great pay, good hours
Short breaks, short lunch, no PTO roll over, limited benefits, poor training assistance, poor management involvement
Hospitality (Current Employee) – Mayfield Heights, OH – July 17, 2018
No chance of promotion outside of the National head office. They cut a lot of the benefits that used to be offered. This is a great stepping stone for a new grad, get in get some experience and then get a job that you can build a future with. The pay is generally higher than their competitors and that is how they get people but the culture is generally negative and there is a lot of pressure to perform at a high level. Do not expect praise from supervisors, they only time they address your work is to let you know where you need to improve.
culture, lack of coaching, work/life balance, benefits
State of the Art Working Environments, Amazing Culture
Web Content Specialist (Former Employee) – Tampa, FL – June 19, 2018
The people are friendly, the working environment is world-class with amenities, at the Tampa HQ there's even an indoor half basketball court, shuffleboard, and snack bar areas on every floor. Everyone feels welcome and is encouraged to think freely and openly.
Patient Support Rep (Document Specialist) (Current Employee) – Tampa, FL – March 14, 2018
The supervisor and employees at laser spine are wonderful as well as the patients who come to our facility to have surgery. Like any job you have your good and bad, but working here i have more good then bad. It's really what you make of it.
