"There are no bad teams only bad leaders"

Even though immediate manager was good many levels and layers above show poor leadership skills. They try to lead from the rear.

A Joke
Consultant (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLFebruary 25, 2018
LSI used to be a great place where we helped patients and had a great work environment. This was all until management admitted to messing up and lost all of the company's money. That is when buy out after buy out happened. They cut most of the staff, but continued to hire and train time and time again; I guess they didn't get the memo on how much that alone ends up costing a company. A bunch of 25 year old sycophants acting like managers, but have no idea what they were doing. This job had a decent pay, decent hours, but no loyalty, no training and no sense of safety-and we are talking if you are doing your job. It was a cut throat place and I am extremely happy that I left. Save yourself some time and keep your stress levels down--look somewhere else.
Pros
Decent pay, benefits
Cons
Everything else

Patient Concierge (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 20, 2017
There are very limited to no advancement opportunities for non-medical personnel. Management doesn't listen to employee feedback. Employees are under-staffed and over-worked.

Excellent c-workers and great work environment. But constant changes to work duties can be frustrating

Productive and fun environment
Medical Record Representative (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 6, 2017
Team meetings were established weekly by team lead and there would also be department meeting once month. Goals were set on a department basis, team basis and also on an individual basis. Management pushed for quality over quantity. Work produced on a quality stand point would have a great out come which would cause an increase in product quantity. Recognition was given. Competitions within the company were great and provided great prizes. Overall a great place to work. wonderful co- workers.

Management is terrible
Medical Assistant Consult (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLOctober 16, 2017
The place is ran terrible and don't take into account the staff feedback. They will write you up and not tell you about it and then call you in the office for a final notice, then fire you.

IT Support (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLOctober 4, 2017
Forget raises, forget work/life balance, forget training or advancement. Some of the people are great, but the turn over rate is so large that most of the good people have been let go or have found a better place.
Pros
A pay check
Cons
Management, Work/Life Balance, raises, advancement

SPINE CARE CONSULTANT (Current Employee) –  Tampa Bay, FLSeptember 27, 2017
Great place to work, management is very supportive and sensitive to personal life. Real family environment which rewards for hard work. They pass out Red Bulls to pep you up as well as provide dinner sometimes for the late shifts as well as the go getters that stay past their shifts.

Very stressful place to work esp if your not in the click
Physician Extender (Former Employee) –  Mayfield Heights, OHAugust 21, 2017
Management and leadership very "clicky". Managment promotes and disciplines staff based upon personal feelings toward that staff member instead of actual merit and/or investigation. Over promises but under delivers just to get staff hired.
Pros
Salary
Cons
Unprofessional & petty management

Broken Promises
Interim Lead Diagnostic Technologist/ASC (Current Employee) –  Mayfield Heights, OHJuly 3, 2017
LSI will promise you the world when they first hire you but over time most if not all of those promises will be broken. Benefits will be taken away and the pay will fall behind other competitors. It is an easy job but not worth dealing with the lack of leadership or direction.
Pros
great hours
Cons
horrible benefits, no leadership

Hardest part of job was nothing really, only when system gave issues,
easiest, was all of it, enjoyed my job
Pros
pay, benefits of free luches when applicable, cafeteria on site
Cons

Poor leadership and unethical behavior
Billing Specialist (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLFebruary 3, 2017
Once upon a time, this was a phenomenal place to work. There was honesty, integrity and loyalty. Unfortunately, they got greedy and spent the company into a hole that they will never be able to get out of, all the while giving themselves huge payouts and bonuses.
They have no respect for their employees and they cannot be trusted. The management team and their team leads are unskilled college-aged snowflakes that are not qualified to run a hotdog stand much less a surgery center.
Pros
There are no pros here
Cons
micromanged by college-aged kids who have no clue what they are talking about.

Management poor.
Nurse Practitioner (Former Employee) –  St. Louis, MOJanuary 13, 2017
Poor job/work balance. Favoritism abounds. Management poor and inexperienced. Company states that they are very patient driven, but they are driven by the amount of surgeries they attain and monetary gains. Company having financial distress and at times goes against my ethical principles.

Horrible Management
Spine Care Consultant (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLDecember 7, 2016
This place is amazing with their culture and everything they do for their patients.
BUT...
management is horrific. They do not understand anything about work/life balance. You will literally be there the majority of your day. God forbid you get sick... they just fire you.
Pros
Free lunch sometimes, fun activities
Cons
Management, hours, stress, obscene deadlines

I very much enjoy my time with LSI. It was my first time working in the corporate world and learned a lot from them. They are very big on uniting employees and introducing everyone to the different departments. I currently work remote for them so my day isn't very stressful because I'm a hard worker. Management is always available to me and I have great communication with them.
