LeafFilter has been very good to me and I’ve never been happier at a job. The environment was friendly, challenging, competitive, and made it easy to consult coworkers and develop lasting relationships with coworkers.

This was a nice place to work. People are freindly, the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone is very supportive. They help you to do the best you can and praise you for your work.

Just don't.

High pressure.

Inferior product.

Management is notorious for having favorites.
(And if your not one of them be prepared to have numerous knives removed from your back, no matter how much they say 'ive got your back!')

Management comes in hungover and takes it out on employees.

Constant customer complaints that are NEVER handled unless they actually threat legal action or have begun legal proceedings.

Owner claimes to care for employees when in reality he Cares solely about his Nascar team, his extreme cars, traveling, making time for his trips with the other male employees... VIP's, CEO, CFO... etc... None of which consists of a single female.
It's truly "the boys club" and always will be.

Raises are a JOKE. If your lucky enough to get one.

The sales reps/installers arent treated much better... Some days they drive hundreds of miles to estimates that the customers were pressured into setting and have no desire of actually buying... All the while the reps are putting their own money into the gas tank as leaffilter doesn't have a driving allowance for the reps/installers.

Now to the appointment scheduler's (customer service representatives)...
Constantly pressured to set estimates, even tho they lead has told them NUMEROUS times no they aren't interested and finally give in.
They are told to call leads until they are forcefully told or screamed at by the lead (customer) to stop calling... Yes they are required to do this.
Owner does not care nor does he abide by FCC calling regulations.
All that is EVER talked about and pushed
more... is about money. That's all they care about. Not the customers, employees or anything else... It's ALL bout the all mighty dollar.

Dont let them fool you, you see the other reviews (btw which are written mostly by employees, who I could actually name which one wrote what review), you see the pictures, videos, Matt Kauligs commercials for Akron University, they make it sound like an adult Chucky Cheese.... But seriously RUN and don't look back.

Remember... If it seems to good to be true... It is.

I would know... I was there when I was actually the BEST place to work... Until I ethically couldn't work there anymore.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Former Employee) –  Hudson, OHOctober 21, 2017
Typical day at work was going through emails, checking the csr system see what new leads and how many leads their were. Looking at the calendar to see what was open for appointments to be filled. I would call each lead to schedule the appointment for their free estimate.

everyone was very friendly and it was very laid back.
Pros
managers bought lunch every wednesday and most thursdays

Not that great
CSR (Former Employee) –  Hudson, OHMay 31, 2017
They "freeze" pay raises according to the manager. The atmosphere is High school drama. They also have favorites. If you are one to work up the ladder on your own and not be a brown noser, this is NOT for you.
Pros
Good stepping ground to get experience
Cons
Favoritism, Hardly any pay raises, Drama filled atmosphere

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Hudson, OHApril 12, 2017
It is a relaxed and fun environment; however sometimes the customers that you have to deal with aren't always the nicest. Your compensation is also not that great. You do start out higher than minimum wage, but it still isn't very much. The environment is really nice though. Everyone you work with is pleasant and is always willing to assist you if you are having any issues or questions. The dress code is really relaxed too. You can wear jeans, a sweat shirt, and sandals.
Pros
free lunch on wednesdays and thursdays, game day friday's, and relaxed dress code
Cons
Pay rate
