Hospitality Supervisor (Current Employee) - Bristow, VA - April 8, 2018
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedLove working here. The people I work with are amazing. Everyone seems to be happy and enjoy what they are doing.
The hardest part is moving product to the different locations.
Pros
Great work environment
Cons
Hard moving product. Need more carts to move things instead of having to carry it

Best and worst-case
Club Staff (Current Employee) - Denver, CO - September 11, 2023
Best case your treated well, appreciated, and enjoy coming to work Worst case you figure out why there's so much turnover in upper management. Room to advance is limited.

I loved the whole experience and outdoor atmoshere.
Stand Lead (Former Employee) - New York, NY - September 6, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? All of the music /artists you get to see and hear while your working in one of the most awesome outdoor atmosphere and venue in the world. While you are getting g paid to be there. Meeting people who have traveled from all over the world to be there for the show and it is a very friendly upbeat and professional place to work. I enjoyed being a part of making visitors/guests enjoy the experience of the Gorge and I tried my best to be a part of making it a rememorable experience for everyone I came into contact with during the time I spent working for Legends. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Some people's attitudes over the price of the alcohol. Also when other workers don't pull their weight or dont show up for their shift. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I enjoyed the environment out there. No complaints. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Long, and hot . But worth it. Show up early, set up, and being prepared for your show was always a plus to help ensure a good night. I would recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a light jacket, a few snacks to help you throughout the sometimes long shifts.

Very enjoyable position for all sports lovers or anyone who likes to stay active. Game days are long and can be difficult but the people and experiences you gain make it all worth it.

Only thing good about it was working for a team I root for
Catering Manager (Former Employee) - Newark, NJ - August 18, 2023
Constantly undermined by my direct leader (Would be told one thing, pass that along to my kitchen team to have my boss go to them and tell them he wanted something different), horrible leadership and communication, no benefits and part time hours. frozen product for VIP catering events.
Pros
got to watch my favorite sports team for free
Cons
everything above

Pay is Not Enough; Company Culture is Great
Senior Digital Associate (Former Employee) - Frisco, TX - August 17, 2023
I worked on the GTS team remotely but went into the office every now & again. Legends as a whole is an amazing company. The culture is great. However the GTS team was understaffed — especially the digital team. Too many accounts per account manager. Lack of training due to understaffing. I only worked there a few months because it got toxic. Typical marketing agency culture (GTS). I would definitely work at Legends again in another department & for way higher pay.
Pros
Culture
Cons
Pay

Great and exciting workplace!
Hospitality Intern (Current Employee) - Birmingham, AL - August 15, 2023
Legends Hospitality at Oak Mountain Amphitheater is a great place to work! All employees are kind, respectful, and engaging! Upper management assisted me with any problems or questions I had, allowing me to perform my job to the best of my ability. I would recommend anyone looking to work in a fun environment to work for Legends.

Sometimes fun but management doesn’t pays
Assistant Catering Manager (Current Employee) - Arlington, TX - August 7, 2023
It is a fun place to work sometimes but now management are getting stricter and is sucking the life of the staff, over working them for the small pay. Company makes so much and won’t raise wages to match everything that’s going up in the outside world
Cons
Have to pay for lunch, salary is not enough

No integrity
Bartender (Former Employee) - Thackerville, OK - August 4, 2023
Overworked, no breaks unless you work a double and that’s if you’re lucky. Don’t care about the health of employees working in this extreme heat. Don’t stand up for what’s right

Jobs at Legends
You couldn’t pay me enough to work for this company ever again!
Warehouse Manager (Former Employee) - Denver, CO - August 3, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Game access: Nuggets & Avalanche What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Zero work life balance. 10-12 hour days 7, 10, 14 days in a row die to events. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Toxic work space. Women have to date a man in the company to get ahead. Most women in management were married to or dating their superior. HR is nonexistent. What is a typical day like for you at the company? There is no such thing as a typical day.

The Vice president has issues one minute he’s helping you and understands your issues like us all have as humans then one minute he doesn’t.

The job is rewarding but you'll get no upper level support at all!
Sous Chef (Former Employee) - Denver, CO - June 21, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Being able to set menus that create great profit. The teams and fans we served for those teams. Atmosphere is phenomenal! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Having a Concessions director on site that's always making you prove yourself worthy when you already have. Lack of a supporting team from the EXE Chef and concessions staff What is the work environment and culture like at the company? You are encouraged to keep reaching higher to not stop perfecting. Culture is very competitive, cut throat, and non supported. And very uncaring for their workers. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I started at 8 am daily I walked out after games at roughly 12 am I set the daily counts to prep for the next game did inventory to make sure useable on hand product was available then advise my lead cook of the items and counts needed for prep or par cooking for the next game to come. Setting amounts each location needed for the items for sale from my kitchen . Executing game time menus and over seeing each hot box carried the proper items in it to each location

Not Fun
Stand Lead (Former Employee) - The gorge, WA - May 29, 2023
Lack of clean bathrooms. Lack of sinks, soap hand dryers. Lack of training. Upper management lacks leadership, communication and positivity. Clock in and out on notebook paper with no access to your overall hours worked. Withholds tips/ doesn’t tell you your daily tips. Lack of safe areas. Poorly lit.

Don't Do It
HR Manager (Current Employee) - United States - May 21, 2023
All the negative comments are accurate. Don't bother working at Legends Hospitality. No structure. Poor leadership. Corporate allows the foolishness because they too are smoke and mirrors. Run far and fast!

Long work hours without proper compensation
Management (Current Employee) - Boston, MA - May 13, 2023
Working for Legends is a joke. Don't even think about applying for any position for this company. You will be expected to work 6 days a week with 12 to 13 hour shifts and not be compensated. Management is a joke. They will allow other staff to bully you and nothing will be done about it. They also show favoritism. You will quickly notice how they extend extra privileges to some staff and you will be obligated to pick up the slack of others. No one will tell you job well done. They will continue to give you the most impossible task and fire you if you cant keep up. There's absolutely no training so be prepared to work in a hostile work environment where you will be yelled at and ridiculed. Don't get caught up with the view. That's how they get you. View Boston is not even open yet and the employees are left to to there own records of handling conflict. You can complaint to management or hr and your cry for help will be ignored.
Pros
None
Cons
No structure, no leadership, no support system, no training, and no one to discipline staff when you are constantly being insulted and bullied.

Coworkers make the day better
Barista/Cashier (Former Employee) - Thackerville, OK - May 9, 2023
The job itself it’s bad but having to work with management who doesn’t communicate is the main downfall. You can ask your manager something and they respond with snarky comments. If you tell them what you can and can’t work they won’t care and will schedule you for days you need off, the managers will talk bad about you and they don’t correctly split credit card tips like they should. You will get treated like you are nothing but an inconvenience to them.
Pros
Weekly pay and daily tips
Cons
Management, guests, hard to advance in company

The best and most fun job I've ever had. Pay isn't the greatest but but everything else makes it a really fun seasonal job!!
Warehouse Asscociate and bartender in training (Current Employee) - Concord, CA - May 8, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The people. Couldn't have a better more fun group to work with. A real mixture of backgrounds, ages and personalities...we all help get the jobs done in a real team effort. Funnest job I've ever had! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? High pressure day of shows and the days leading up to the show. Always lots to be done. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fun and upbeat and laid back. There are so many possibilities for work. It is nationwide. So much room for growth. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Busy! Busy! Busy! Physical labor. Can be hot or cold so dress accordingly as it is a partially outdoor amphitheater.

I was bullied into quoting my job

Horrible business to work for. They do not value their employees. Management was not good at delegating or communicating. It was overall a toxic work environment.
