Knowing that what I do now is the only thing I will ever do at Lehigh Hanson. Promotions don't happen here.

Hanson bought the company I worked for. Since then they have driven off most of our regular customers making them go elsewhere for concrete. There are busy days once in a while. Mostly because they can't get drivers to apply and a lot drivers have quit so they have to send trucks to whichever plant is busy. Other times it's slow.

They have direct deposit. Insurance is expensive and hardly worth getting, all major holidays are paid, most plants are union so if you like having your money taken away for nothing that will fit you well. No sick days, paid vacation that we get paid for in June and are only allowed to take when things are slow.
