Be careful and read the paid time off (PTO) policy very carefully. PTO is the only leave you get so it's vacation/sick, however you decide to use it. HOWEVER, you only accrue PTO based on number of hours worked in that pay period. That means that if you use PTO on a day or there are holidays in that pay period, you do not accrue PTO for those hours. This means that you will accrue less PTO hours for that pay period.

You are thereby being penalized for using PTO or holiday hours.

When our contracts switched and I had to join Leidos, I was effectively demoted (because of how their org structure is) and lost almost 2 weeks in vacation per year. Their response was the equivalent of tough s***.
