Great PT job
Merchandiser (Current Employee) –  Lafayette, INFebruary 28, 2019
I was at my store for over 5 years and it was a good part time job for a retiree. Hours were very flexible, I could work my truck at night or early morning. Daily work was easy, take inventory on tablet, pull out dated stuff, and stock shelf. Management was good about needing time off for vacations and other trips. Saw supervisor every couple of weeks, nice not to have someone standing over you daily. paid weekly. Family owned, would give merchandisers coats, coolers and things over the years. Other companies paid a little more but the hours were always in the evening or overnight and all weekend. Plus it’s10 times the work.
It’s PT, hours just need to fit your schedule.

Production Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Murfreesboro, TNDecember 3, 2018
Constant arguing among employees. Management was not supportive of the supervisors decisions. Work hours were abhorrent and inconsistent. Waste was outrageous.

Do your research
Merchandiser (part-time) (Former Employee) –  Lafayette, INMarch 16, 2018
This merchandising job only pays $10 per hour and is only 10 hours per week. The manager does not tell you how much your pay rate is upfront. Another part the manager doesn’t tell you is that you have to work 5-6 days per week to get 10 hours per week. So, you are basically working almost every day and only bringing home around $75 per week after taxes. Lastly, be careful taking this job. It is a merchandiser position where you are putting orders away when they come in. You don’t do any ordering or any negotiating with displays, bunkers, or endcaps. The area manager does all of that and places all of the orders in the stores. So, if your sales are down, you automatically become responsible for low sales. You are paid as a merchandiser. Your pay is not based on sales. There are plenty of merchandiser positions in the area that pay $13 per hour. Do your research.

Easy
