Clinician in Dutchess County, NY
on May 9, 2022
The Drug Treatment Service Industry is rife with issues facing such a challenging field. I love what I do and appreciate that Lexington has fostered/allowed me to experience extensive career and personal growth. The clinical and medical staff and services overall are of a higher caliber and availability than multiple other similar agencies I have worked with. The management is dealing with unprecedented growth and demand in the field of substance use, as well as their explosive growth in the past 10 years. There is a culture of openness and curiosity, if you have a skill set or passion it is welcome. I am a firm believer that you take yourself wherever you go, so somewhat biased about how one experiences the workplace!
Administrative Assistant in Poughkeepsie, NY
on April 5, 2022
As an administrative assistant the job can get quite boring and not challenging at all. Management is confusing and not available.. Hours are decent, good work life balance, not a stressful atmosphere. Not a lot of room for growth administratively. Coworkers keep to themselves, not an inclusive atmosphere. Workload is easy and reasonable.

I absolutely love my job. My Supervisor is accessible, understanding and extremely supportive & helpful. All staff thus far is tops in the field . My hope is Lexington Center for Recovery becomes a national agency.

The clinic staff is very supportive and works well together. As for some of the others, I am not so impressed with the attitude and qualifications of some of the so-called directors.

Worked there for 3+ years. Management extremely supportive. Great teamwork. High focus on self care and work life balance. The team really cares about the clients - focus on recovery is high. Highly recommend.
