No, absolutely not free. The health insurance is very expensive!! Before any bill is paid for 1 person, a yearly deductible of $4500 must be met. I can't imagine what the family deductible is. Terrible!!!
Yes, but the premiums are simply outrageous. Also, a super high yearly deductible must be met before insurance will pay anything. (except routine and preventative exams) It's best you never get ill...

The benefits at LN are horrible. From health care options/deductibles/high premiums, our 401K is average at best, measley quarterly pension credits as well as pitiful life insurance. Example, our life insuance was initially 2 x your annual base pay, that changed to 1.5 x your annual base pay. It's now 1 x your annual pay. Will probably go down to half before long. Truly shows how cheap LN is and how little they care about their employees...unless you're an executive, then huge Q1 bonuses are still paid. Nearly everyone in my dept received a 1 or 2% annual raise for 20 years. Two years we got nothing. If you consider fair raises equal to your production, it's not a perk at LN. You'll do the work of 2 people, then basically rewarded in peanuts. Pathetic!
It's awfulvand gets worse each year. Super high deductible as well as premiums. Bare minimum coverage unless you pay a small fortune.
