I didn't want to leave; I had to leave because of health reasons (not related to work).
THEY SAID... after 10 yrs that my full time position was being transferred to the Raleigh office, and the part time position equaled to mine, remained, so I was laid off. I thoroughly enjoyed my beginnings at LN, but company started to lose the most important commodity to me...valuing their employees. Very poor leadership and merit raises. It is so embarrassing, and such a slap in the face, and then there is this unspoken expression of, "Well at least you still have a job"
I was tired of always being up against layoffs/offshoring, and the company really has no direction. If I hadn't had young kids I wouldn't have stayed as long as I did (8 years)
My position as well as two other jobs were recently eliminated from GOTC. They were sent to the Philippines.
Like hundreds of others, my position also went to the Philippines.
Colorado location closing. Jobs sent to the Phillippines
