Pretty good
Appliance Technician (Current Employee) - Albuquerque, NM - June 26, 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedHiring process takes a long time. Pay depends on experience. Depending on the area you live you can get high call volume or low. Get to bring vehicle home. And weekends off. Management is pretty good from my point of view. Waiting for parts to come in is a pain. Some time they won’t even ship the part out yet even when it’s in stock. Expect lots of sealed system jobs. Training is pretty good. If you feel like you need help on certain things they won’t hesitate to help you out and take more ride a longs if needed. Benefits are great and they do pay for your benefits. Overall my experience has been pretty good and I am expecting it to stay that way.

It has so much potential but falls short everytime
Anonymous (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - July 26, 2022
There are so many factors that work against you in this job regardless of what level you're at. You have the Koreans who don't want to conform or attempt to make an inclusive work environment, you have supervisors who are corrupt, and then you have all of the other unethical work issues in between. The company overall is great but the Clarksville site has a long way to go if they want a peaceful and unified work culture.

No real time for training.
Elite staffing packing & handles material (Former Employee) - Bolingbrook, IL - July 13, 2022
They just put you on the area they assign you to, and a supervisor or team leader put you in between others, tell you what to do, then walk away!' No help, no assist! You're basically on your owe.
Pros
Good clean working environment
Cons
Breaks are too short, considering how long you have to walk from area, to the Security area to be check. Then wait for microwave to heat food, their's no time left, but 10or 15min, before you have to start heading back, or you will be considering been late!

Good benefits, impossible culture
Analyst 3 (Former Employee) - Huntsville, AL - July 11, 2022
The benefits, especially healthcare benefits, were top notch. That’s the end of the good. You can be hired to do one job and find out upon starting that you are doing something different. Bait & switch, in essence. The Korean culture is not for everyone, and unless you take to it immediately, adjusting to it can take a long time, possibly longer than your employment there.
Pros
Healthcare
Cons
Everything else

Underpaid poor organization.
Factory Worker (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - July 8, 2022
They are unorganized, you never kno when you will be off one day to the next. Too much work for little pay .management was rude ,some treated you like crazy and other managers would try and excuse their behavior because of their culture!

Cheap lunches
Office Worker (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - June 23, 2022
Incompetence is all around, especially from management. Directors do nothing to help the work-life balance situation, and turnover is extremely high. One day, this place will fail.
Pros
Free Lunches

Workers are good people and they should be treated better.
Quality Supervisor, LG (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - June 12, 2022
Management has no respect for the people and they do not trust the American workers. The people working there know what they are doing and should be treated better. LG Clarksville could be a good place to work if leadership had the trust in the American worker. The hours are way to long and you have no work life balance. There is also no sick time to take. With the hours you work it makes it hard to make appointments. Also the support system there is not there! You are given work that is not even in your scope.

Lg hires the ra department as temps
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Huntsville, AL - June 7, 2022
Never know when your going to lose your job. 80% of LG workers are TEMPS. Moving 40 positions to the Philippines to save money, however they want us to stay for 30 days to help train the NEW system to the worker's who are taking our job's. Every daily meeting the manager is just concerned about productivity. They will make you feel like s*** if your number is low for the day. No good job training No Training Manuel Training should be at min 5-weeks and 5 weeks in office. We are just numbers to this Korea Company. Can't answer customers questions because we don't have the answer or proper training tools. Management is scattered brain/ Everyone should be in office working because this was life Pre-Covid.
Pros
Pay
Cons
Temps, stress, management is not focused

Manager (Current Employee) - Englewood Cliffs, NJ - June 6, 2022
The company offers a great benefit packages. The pay scale and work load can be differed significantly based on division and department. The new building at Englewood Cliffs is state-of-the-art!

Jobs at LG Electronics
High stress zero support
Operator (Former Employee) - Huntsville, AL - May 28, 2022
The only thing I took away from this place (LG solar) was a few good friends. The work environment was almost always toxic due to team lead in assembly. The blatant disrespect was astounding. Tyranny at its best! Always on their phone playing games or posting on FB, leaving "line leads" to run things and taking credit for goals met by operators while having played no role in achieving them. Made everyone miserable as punishment for putting out more panels when they were absent. Always played the victim to management when conflicts escalated so it did no good to go to HR or management because they never tried to get both sides of the story. The people I worked side by side with were the only reason I stayed as long as I did. If zero stars was an option, that's what I'd choose.

Not great
Quality/test Technician (Current Employee) - Hazel Park, MI - May 20, 2022
I mean it's a job but it's a grind. The management were never really fair with giving notice of how many hours you'll work that day and spring weekends on you last minute

Teamwork
Assembly Worker (Former Employee) - Final Inspection - May 20, 2022
Everyone always pitched in as a team in order for production to go more smoothly. It was a home away from home. It felt like I not only met great employees but gained many friends as well. Its a shame to find a place where you enjoy going to work and unfortunately they had to shut down.
Pros
Health care benefits were amazing
Cons
Standing for a long period of time

Completely Random
Production Operator (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - May 19, 2022
Management does whatever they want. Your schedule is changed on the fly so don't try making any appointments. If you're friendly with the bosses you get special treatment. If you're an introvert, you're forgotten and pushed aside. You might think you have a stable position, but you could randomly be moved to another area whenever they feel like it, even if you have no experience in that new area. They'll make you do stupid tasks when you're done with your job and are caught up in production. You're rewarded with more work if you finish early. Break times are cut short because of the time it takes to get to the break rooms and because of dumb stuff like only having two microwaves for an entire department. If you get days with no production, expect to work twice as hard and have your shift extended when you come back. You'll be secure for about a year but then you'll get screwed with.
Pros
Insurance
Cons
Poor management, random schedule, work/life balance, poor training

Clean Place to Work
Production Operator (Former Employee) - Hazel Park, MI - May 17, 2022
It was nice to work at this company until they started laying people off every other week and messing up our paychecks. Hr was nice and sometimes stood up for us production workers. During my time there five supervisors left.
Pros
Free Health Insurance, Reasonable Pay, Clean and Air Conditioned facility
Cons
Short breaks, Micromanaging, Favoritism, High turn around

Nice place to work
Production Worker (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - May 11, 2022
Do your job stay out of the drama and everything is smooth. You work with a group or on a line to produce parts. You get a 30 minute lunch break. The pay is decent.
Pros
Most of the jobs are easy
Cons
Crazy people

Constantly required to adapt to new management
Field Service Technician (Former Employee) - Los Gatos, CA - April 24, 2022
New management comes and goes and each time new expectations are created ontop of preexisting ones. Ideas are not welcomed so make sure to not voice anything or else you will be black listed. Bonus structure is almost impossible to achieve unless you are a refrigeration only tech in which case your repairs will count as double towards monthly bonuses. Pay is below industry standards but paycheck totals are ok because of the constant overtime that is mandated in order to complete all required daily jobs.
Pros
100% paid benefits
Cons
No sence of teamwork, all field service technicians are made to compete against one anothers metrics.

Not bad. It's just a typical Korean company with ok pay.
Engineering Manager (Former Employee) - Tennessee - April 21, 2022
I would say it's an ok company which can help you to move to better companies. I don't see any good prospective from this company. If you are an entry-level engineer, I recommend you to start here.
Pros
Medical Insurance
Cons
Work environment

Don't believe the hype it's a horrible place to work
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Huntsville, AL - April 15, 2022
If you want to be stressed out, treated like you're not intelligent and always wondering when you will get fired or laid off then this is the employer for you. I absolutely hate working here and only work here for insurance. They have the worse managers and if you go to HR be ready for no help at all they do not care about their employees. They put bandaids on real problems.
