It was a fun place to work with great people in the local market.
Business Banker (Former Employee) – Waterloo, IA – January 29, 2018
A typical day included working on developing new business relationships and completing analysis and monitoring of existing business relationships.
I learned most of the aspects of business banking as it relates to sales, analysis, monitoring and closing of loans.
Local management was pretty fair, corporate did a poor job of keeping the bank financially secured.
The culture of the workplace was very good locally. Most everyone worked together as a team.
The hardest part of the job was dealing with the financial downfall of the bank. There were locations that ran into financial problems due to the 2009 mortgage collapse, which significantly caused issues with the entire bank and ultimately caused the demise of the bank.
The most enjoyable part of the day was working with a very knowledgeable group of people.
