151 Operator (Current Employee) – Rock Island, IL – June 12, 2018
After LDI bought the company the hours increased to 10 a day if not more. Eventually HR suddenly decided that any bad action deserves an immediate write-up and no warning. Any call-ins will give a point and take away PTO time also.
Talent Acquisition Specialist (Former Employee) – New Hope, MN – December 11, 2018
Micromanaging work environment under a manager that was extremely unorganized and not authentic. Never knew if they were coming to work or not during my first two months of employment. Was given tasks with limited to no direction. Was told that I had the ability to make my own decisions but than constantly questioned on why I was doing certain things and not others. Talent Aquisition is a direct reflection of the leader of the department - scattered.
Production Worker (Former Employee) – Rock Island, IL – June 13, 2018
This place I have worked and I hated it. Its too hot in the warehouse and they only have fans. It's like a human slaughter house. No entry level workers are paid fairly for their hard work. Stay away! Low pay
( Clamp truck/forklift ) (Former Employee) – Haltom City, TX – April 19, 2017
Very fast paced operation when producing corragated materials. Safety was always first at liberty, and we did not take short cuts. Everyone worked as a team helping to always get the job done and done right.
Excessive meetings with no actionables. Terrible, ineffective management. No focus. No clear strategy. Reactive, ADD approach and laughably unqualified management. They need to nuke management and bring in people who care about results.
The company as a whole is stuck in a whole other decade and cannot compete.
Employee (Current Employee) – Minneapolis, MN – October 29, 2015
The owners are liars and reward those who also lie. Most of the employees are scared of the owners because they are so well known in the business community and think they will prevent them from getting a new job if they leave. Most of the people who do leave won't tell anybody where they are going for exactly this reason. Think about why that would happen before you apply. The owners are also verbally abusive but the older employees take it because they know they can't go anyplace else. Newer employees just walk out the door. If you're willing to take the abuse and tell the owners they're right all the time though you can stay until you retire (results are not important in this culture). The focus is always on the past. Lots of Saturdays and Sundays.
Sales Manager (Current Employee) – Golden Valley, MN – March 8, 2015
As a part of a unique start-up, I was afforded the experience of a business launch within the umbrella of a secure parent company. I loved working in all parts of the business: sales, marketing, operations ... from Day One. An amazing learning experience!
I have traveled 50% of the time, presenting the new system and product, raising awareness across North America.
I've enjoyed working with a small team of professionals, determining strategy and growing the business.
