Require your SDC and ADON get out of their offices and take a med cart due to serious staffing shortages. As nurses we are placed on the floor with extremely risky and dangerous nursing to resident ratios.

Documentation, never enough time based on the nurse /patient ratio 1-30. Upfront staff does not screen calls, no matter how busy you are, they will overhead page you until you answer the call, only for the caller to ask to speak to a resident. The halls are very long and only one phone per hall and that's at the nurses desk.
