However, we believe you wrote your review on the wrong Liberty page as we do not have positions in Springfield, VA. Liberty Healthcare is a common name, so we're often mistaken with other companies.
Libeerty Healthcare is a great company to work. They are great to to their staff and treat you like family.

For me, my co-workers are like family to me and outside staff, which are the programs. What is a typical day like for you at the company?The day is typically quite because many of our staff works from home but the work traffic is the same.

Productive work but very toxic environment

I loved assessing the MH of inmates. Unfortunately the environment of mental staff is very very very toxic. Constant gossip lies snubbing spreading of rumors its non ending

Excellent supervisors and positive work culture even while working from home
Adult Protective Services Investigator (Current Employee) - Pennsylvania - January 9, 2023
I've been at this job over a year now and it has overall been a very positive experience. Supervisors are very patient and welcoming as you learn the job which consists of a lot of information. Supervisors and coworkers are helpful and accessible even as we work from home and in the field primarily alone. Everyone is just a text or call away and are prompt to get back to you if they can't answer right away. That accessibility helps considerably with the adjustment to working primarily on your own. The job requires a lot of independence and the ability to take initiative and the willingness to learn for sure. I don't have any complaints that are 'deal-breakers' by any means.

The company is a reputable company with capacity of 24 clients in 3 blocks of buildings which comprising of 8 clients in each building and with quality of products staffs caring for the clients, the only troublesome time is the time of behavioural of the clients which was always taken care by the experience staffs. The company good company to work with.

Work flow
Easy job only thing that drove me crazy was the 30 min checks with the tracking device that tracks you everywhere you go and the Ed watches you even when she goes home watches you on camera and watches you with the tracker on

Horrible management, lack of team work, kind of like a high school setting but with adults, covers up abuse, always short staffed. Turn overrate is horrible, there’s no real program for the kids since they are there longer than 6 months, more like 2 yrs+ . The kids don’t get the proper care and treatment they need to succeed and leave the program, more like mess with their meds to keep them there.

Good support and management

Worked here during Covid and work from home period due to family illness with plans to stay and go back out in the field, but my mom now requires 24 hour care. They worked with me during her hospitalizations and really cared about family. Good support with learning the job and documentation, Medicare requirements. Would definitely return if/when the opportunity arises.

Awful management, and POOR workplace conditions

THe most unethical place I have ever worked as a clinician. Patients are treated so poorly by Deputy Staff and there is no management support to redirect the mistreatment of patients. Confidentiality is non-existant and clinicians are a dime a dozen in this environment. Awful experience and no hope for change if management remains the same.

I have worked for Liberty Healthcare for four years and it is a wonderful company to have worked for. Management is great and strives to promote a culture of openness and inclusivity. There is a lot of room for growth and advancement and the company is good about promoting talent within.
