Lack of decent pay, hours and dependable leadership.
Several Positions (Former Employee) –  Sanatoga, PottstownDecember 7, 2018
The ultimate goal at Liberty THRIFT is not to raise money for Liberty Ministries. It is, unfortunatley, to cause employees to live in constant fear of the undertrained management.
Pros
Public Transporation close by
Cons
Pay, short lunch break, low employee discount

Front Cashier, front desk (Former Employee) –  Pottstown, PAAugust 24, 2018
Never enough hours ,low pay ,and too slow paced to work, was a church store and they judged you on everything you did or said , decriminalized on the employees very uncomfortable place to work, I would only get two days a week and work 7 hours only no benefits no pay raises

Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) –  Collegeville, PASeptember 6, 2017
Slow paced but always something to stay productive !
I feel like the prices for the items were too high. We literally would get donations and the prices became ridiculous there.

Clerk (Former Employee) –  Pottstown, PAMay 12, 2017
Liberty was great to work for, due to the sheer joy that the head staff have and the fun they try to make. Although there is low pay and long hours, i would recomment this job to anyone who needs begining experience.
Pros
Good beginning experience
Cons
One break, long hours, almost minimum wage

Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Quakertown, PAOctober 25, 2016
I love working their co-workers were nice, easy to get along with and management was very pleasant and took Ideas and opinions into consideration. They are a caring employer, They mission is to give ex prisoners a second chance. They provide shelter, jobs, therapy , etc. One of the things I liked was every year they collect donations to send unprivileged children to camp and send a package to the prisoners for Christmas it includes personal hygiene supplies and a few snacks, male and female.
Pros
learned different skills
