Hopefully our new VP has some greater ideas on how to compete in the market. But all in all it's been a struggle with communication and support. Pallets are either delivered to wrong stores or not at all. Drivers park pallets that are about to fall and break. Seems like company would rather spend money on technology and new SOPs rather than invest in the people that have been with them struggling since day 1. Stores are left to figure out the best way to push products and make sales because of the poor communication from upper management to stores. I agree company is still "new," but your biggest investment should be the people on the Frontlines. The under appreciation can be felt when you visit stores and speak to staff.

When I came to Lidl I never expected to feel included. I thought I would go in work and get out, but I feel at home here and felt welcomed. Lidl is a good place to work if someone is hard working and willing to learn.

Absolutely worst company to work for! I liked the job in the beginning. But I slowly learned that it was the worst job I could ever work for. I was promised promotions right from the start because they loved the way I worked. Then when promotions came up they promoted people that do basically nothing and only knew one department. Meanwhile, I was doing the job of a supervisor and working like I was 10 people. Then there were people who did absolutely nothing getting paid the same pay and I would have to pick up their slack. Absolutely ridiculous that they were never reprimanded. I was always expected to stay later than my scheduled time and when I told them I couldn’t stay late to work another persons job responsibility I was told I could leave and not come back. You know what though I didn’t go back because before that they got mad at me for telling them ahead of time I couldn’t come in one of the days and said that I didn’t do it appropriately. That’s just a couple of things, there’s a lot more. Overall, if you like your sanity and like having a life this is the worst job you can apply to. I’m telling you right now don’t do it!!!! It’s not worth what it does to your mental state!!!!!!
