Mostly dedicated staff who believe in and want to help those struggling with addiction. However inadequate staffing and huge caseloads make it nearly impossible to achieve quality patient care on a daily basis.

Just say no to LCG. It was already going downhill and then Acadia took it over. It has been a horror show ever since Acadia took over. Extremely high turnover, so no one there knows what they're doing. It's not a good place for the individuals or for the staff.

Overworked, under paid dedicated staff. Management has poor leadership and minimal training for staff makes the job difficult. andA very dysfunctional organization. In the short time I was there the schedule I agreed to when I was hired was changed 3 times in a two month period. I was told I would not be given a caseload until the electronic health record system was in place - and then I was given patients with paper charting- for which I received minimal training. Several counselors , including me, were let go before our probationary period ended. It felt like it was a budgetary thing rather than based on our performance. I was disappointed because I enjoyed the work.
The LCG is lacking in knowledge in management skills. Most of the clinical staff is young and has no experience working with patients with mental and substance abuse. New employees are not given the needed training to work with this population. The counselors do the job of a case manager. Counselors are overwhelmed with on going paper work and no time to work with

Certain employees are showed favoritism and treated better than others with promotions and approved time off. Pay is poor. You cannot be a patient advocate because the MD holds all the control and if she doesn’t like that patient then the patient’s needs will not be met. Drugs are brought in, patient/staff safety are compromised but management doesn’t seem to care at all.
