Overall a great place to work!
EMT-Basic (Former Employee) –  Gilford, NHMarch 25, 2018
For a private ambulance company they try to be competitive and responsive with the pay scales. The company is doing a great job at trying to manage multiple stations and multiple contracts. I was always treated fairly and decently by management. would recommend as a place to work.
Pros
As much work as you want
Cons
Sometimes run late at the end of the shift.

Great company, poor pay
EMT (Current Employee) –  New HampshireFebruary 18, 2018
I have been a chair van driver and an EMT with LifeLine. While I enjoy the work and the people, the pay is low. The company itself is wonderful. Nice people, and it is easy to pick up extra shifts/ control your schedule. Average about 5-7 calls in a 12 hour shift. The pay leaves much to be desired. But you do get paid weekly, which is nice. Also they are always willing to help you with education. Either sending you to EMT class or medic school.
Pros
Nice people, good work environment
Cons
Low pay

No raises ever..!!! They hire you quickly and put you on the road even quicker, to fend for yourself with the very little training you will get. Oh and did I say you will never get a pay raise no matter how good quality work you put out

LifeLine now has both guaranteed pay increases as well as a monthly bonus program based on good performance.

Longer and less flexible shifts than I would Ideally prefer but run well
EMT-B (Former Employee) –  Norwood, MAMay 13, 2017
Good company and well structured work experience. Co-workers were pleasant and helpful, especially during the first few weeks. Most patients and receiving facilities were also very pleasant to work with, with only a few exceptions. The orientation program was slightly lacking when I first started but it was updated in early 2016, either way, much of job is learned on site rather than in a class. The shift schedules really only supported 10-12 hour shifts, sometimes longer, but fair pay and good management made this a positive work experience.

Not the worse out there
Wheelchair Van Driver (Former Employee) –  Woburn, MAApril 6, 2017
Some good people working there, others suck. Poor management. There is not any loyalty of staff or management. Better equipment than many companies.

The pay sucks, People back stab you. They pretend they like you but they really are not. They talk bad about their customers.

Busy place but fun environment
EMT-B (Former Employee) –  Woburn, MAMarch 18, 2016
A lot of work but a fun place to be. Opportunity to grow for everyone with the right attitude. Helping people is a lot of fun.
