It is very fast paced some days and there are other days where work is very slow and you spend your time trying to recruit donors. I've been there for 3 years and I still am currently. I love my job, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. My training was quick and to the point. If you are a fast learner you will do just fine. If you are squeamish and don't do blood or vomit I would say this isnt the job for you. I dont know about other regions my by regions and the surrounding regions I've worked with have all been great. LifeSouth has really allowed me to show my true potential and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Horrible place to begin your phlebotomy career. This place cares nothing about their employees or their training. They only focus on numbers and WILL NOT give you the raises promised during the initial hiring process. Do NOT waste your time or energy applying or even working for this God forbidden company. Especially the one on Oxmoor Road in Birmingham,Alabama.

Good place to begin a career in Phlebotomy. Not somewhere I would recommend for someone looking for a career. Upper management are not of their word. Not a team atmosphere, is more of a do as I say, not as I do atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend this Employer.
