Horrible, horrible, horrible
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZJanuary 14, 2019
This is the type of employer who, after years of service, just makes up some reason to cut ties. The market is ridiculous and the company is purely reactive but NEVER follows through. The training is obscure and the compensation is a joke. Management is overwhelmed by the directives that trickle down from regional managers to area managers to the office level. The expectations are unattainable, but maybe that's just the management I worked under.

Do you like spending 99% of your life at work?
Data Entry Clerk (Former Employee) –  Lenexa, KSJanuary 12, 2019
Low paying data entry job with absurdly long hours. Unfortunately, employers in this region can lie about overtime in the interview and then compel you to work 50+ hours per week or fire you. Its an extremely unethical practice, and they absolutely do that here. The benefits are pretty horrible. Horrible as in they double or even triple bill you and discontinue your benefits saying they never received payment despite a well documented paper trail. Criminally horrible.

Beware of this employer
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Asheville, NCJanuary 1, 2019
This was supposed to be a great family [CHRISTIAN] atmosphere. Beware the managment will stab you in the back. Even doing what you are told to do my manager will get you fired. I loved the people but the manager is two faced and right out evil. My self esteem went from very high to almost depression because of this one individual. She will get hers in the near future. Karma always shows its face.
My mileage logs for the year were kept and expense sheets kept.
Pros
5 day work week
Cons
Low mileage reimbursment

Upfront Review (Former Employee) –  Blasdell, NYDecember 19, 2018
Please do not apply here. It is a horrible job. The work load is unmanageable and the staff is terrible. They scream at you constantly. Overtime all the time. You must work it. The pay is pathetic and I even had money stolen out of my purse.
Pros
Nothing

Billing Specialist (Current Employee) –  United StatesDecember 18, 2018
Every bad review is true. It's a systemic problem. This company only cares about money. Benefits are a joke. No raises. Not enough workers in centers or billing offices. Uppermanagement at the centers have a nasty disposition towards ppl in the billing offices and your expected to tolerate it. Favoritism is true. Work load is way too much for 12.00 and no that is strict starting pay in my area. You are expected to work 10-12 hrs a day last week of the month is mandatory overtime and its when everyones work is done is when you leave and madatory sat sometimes. No team work only time you get help is when ur manager says go help. No employee engagement, no reward and recognition, this company waste so much money with turnover and they are not even interested in fostering a better work place Unless you need money or your foot in the door is the only way i would recomend working here.

Throw the whole company away

CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Blasdell, NYDecember 16, 2018
Lincare Held Sales office is a complete Circus. Just when you hope for the professional dynamic to move one step forward , it goes ten steps backward. The Management is incapable of providing assistance, training or support as to date they haven't a clue what the department does on a daily basis. Their background is collections and they have been allowed to run Department as a collection agency and NOT as a DME provider obtaining Insurance Authorizations. Teamwork is not encouraged. Like in a collections atmosphere, its blame this department, blame that department ..... Big Bonuses are promised and when given out are NOT enough to buy bread and milk. You are required to work 5 hours per week overtime which the Department was told was temporary, forced to work Saturdays ... That was more than 10 months now, to make any kind of a decent check you must work 20 - 25 hours overtime, raises are non existant , employee turn around high, morale low, management holds daily meetings to let you know while your office did well its not enough you need to work harder. Supervisors are ill equipped, immature, unprofessional and spend more time talking about how fat their staff is. There isn't a day that goes by where an adult employee isnt reduced to crying.
RUN, RUN , RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN !!
Pros
Coworkers are wonderful, kind, hardworking people who are stuck needing a paycheck.
Cons
Everything! Pay, Management, Morale, Bonuses, Hours, Lack of Professionlism, Lack of Leadership, Lack of Patient Care

Distribution manager (Former Employee) –  CincyDecember 13, 2018
Cincinnati was not pleasant. The manager lied, sexually harassed females and got the entire staff fired after he was turned in. It was terrible with harassment in place. Would never recommend working if the same guy is still there. from 2006 and 2007.

It a nice place to work. Mostly women. I think for what we do it's time for a better pay scale. You do get overtime but only when mgr wants to be there or are forced by company to do so. So it's not something you can count on. Would also like to see better training.

Low wages
Billing Specialist (Current Employee) –  Washington StateDecember 2, 2018
Pay is far below the median mean for same type of work. Pay discrimination. Raises are only once a year and they are only a cost of living raise so like .25 to .30 cents and they pushed back raises an additional six months so had to wait 18 months for a minimal raise. Only way to move up from billing position is to upfront review or management. Lots of favoritism going on. No praise for good job. Work load is unrealistic. Super stressful. The company is trying to save money so they are forcing the billing offices to take roll over calls from the call center so yay, you get to be a call center representative and are still expected to get your daily quota of your billing work done. You also get to be an insurance verification specialist too which use to be a separate job position as well. You will never get your daily work done, will always be behind and get docked for it on your monthly review. Health care premiums are expensive and high deductibles/out of pocket cost, can't afford to use your insurance. You do get 10 days of vacation time but you have to give a two week notice to use it including if you need to use sick time for a doctor appointment. You also will be expected to get all your work done from your time off when you return or you will get docked for it on your monthly review.
Pros
Traditional work week hours/days, good vacation benefits
Cons
Low wages, stressful work environment, poor training

Driver (Former Employee) –  Cumberland, RINovember 16, 2018
All DME companies are the same they barely pay you anything and work you like a slave. The management can't manage there way out of a paper bag, and all around just a very negative work environment.. Only go if you are desperate for money but make sure you keep looking for other jobs or have a backup.
Pros
Get to go to places you might not go to on your own
Cons
Just about everything else

I turned down 2 other jobs to work here, and I couldn't even make it past the first month unfortunately. I was told not to be so nice to patients, and the coworker morale is mean. It is like the dumb leading the dumber. Lazy, mean, dirty, horrible people work here.

Enterprise Architect (Former Employee) –  Clearwater, FLNovember 8, 2018
The IT management is a nightmare. You have to put in a minimum of 12 hours a day just to stay on top of all the work. The Enterprise Architect role is more like a project manager.

Cut throat
Patient Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Sharon PennsylvaniaOctober 27, 2018
At first it seems like a very nice place to work at. later you will find out that it is a very Petty and catty environment. There is a certain click there that is led by this one girl who has a very specific nose with a permanent booger who is basically a mole and if you do anything to make her mad she will go straight to the managers and have you terminated. They listen to everything that she says because typically she knows more than any of them working there so she uses this to her advantage. You have to work there for 6 months before you get any type of PTO time. You basically have to learn the system of working on the same account forever because basically nobody there really knows what their job description is. If you're intelligent enough to detect fraudulent accounts and insurance charges you will be walked out the door. They shut the cash department down and sent the jobs to Guatemala and didn't even give the workers a heads up so you can just about imagine how this company do its employees. Only one man works in the whole Center out of about 40 females which I find very interesting.
Pros
Monday through Friday, free coffee
Cons
Terrible training, terrible management, no PTO until after 6 months, very cut-throat environment

Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  TennesseeSeptember 28, 2018
Took a job as sales rep because I needed a job. As far as the interaction with providers to get patients what they need, I loved it. As far as the Corporate BS, hated it. Unrealistic sales goals and they screw with your money. Only good thing was it enabled me to make contacts and get some experience. Management double talk is rampant. They preach pt care, but only care about numbers

Service Technician and Installer (Former Employee) –  Muncie, INSeptember 27, 2018
if a multibillion dollar company could be lead around by the neck of failed nurses that went into hospice care because they could not make it as nurses its a sad day for healthcare nation wide, they ordered so much stuff that was not needed it should be a crime and not just occasionally it was everyday, patients were dying and they were ordering walkers, rollators, wheelchairs, and demanded they be delivered within 2 hours or else they would find another company you would get there and the family is like what are you doing here he is dying why are you delivering this stuff, per hospice orders that is all i am permitted to say, felt bad for the family and the patients at this very critical time in there life, seemed to be more distraction than a help
Pros
the patients i did get to inter act with
Cons
lack of cleaning the equipment properly, before the next use
