I’ve worked for lincare for three years as an RRT. It’s an office environment so it’s good if your starting out as a new RRT. Patients are back to back so you need to have good time management. It can be stressful, but what job isn’t stressful at times. You just have to go with the flow. You have paid time off, holiday pay and sick time. They also pay for your mileage and other expenses. Your on call certain weekends, which means you’ll get a call once in awhile to help a patient troubleshoot their machine over the phone. You’ll be traveling weekly to patients homes. It’s good sometimes since your out of the office you’ll have less patients for the day. It just sucks when it’s really hot outside, really cold or raining. Overall I would recommend working here, It all depends on the location and management. If you have a great team it makes everything flow easier.

Revolving door for managers. Always breaking in a new mgr, then they quit. Constant corporate interference.On call nights and weekends. They say they pay overtime but cut regular hours to offset overtime: no overtime pay. Mostly nice co-workers trying their best to keep ship afloat.

I really enjoyed the staff in my center but my boss could have cared less about me. I never heard a positive word only negative. The training for someone green was pretty much nonexistent. The pay was terrible compared to what was expected out of you. There were so many teams meetings it was impossible to get any work done.

Workplace environment. Clinicians are expected to always be selling regardless of patient need. High pressure from upper management. To many meaningless job tasks to do and not enough time to do it.

Extremely busy patient load, and below pay. The requirements for your position change weekly and the lack of communication and direction from the manager is ridiculous. She gives instructions by word of mouth and not by email to ensure everyone knows what to do. Offering “promotions” that basically gives you more responsibility without any compensation. She also plays favorites to patients letting them stockpile tanks while limiting others.
