Management can be very condescending
Phone Verifyer (Former Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - September 14, 2023
Never talk in any of the group chats, otherwise, any statement you make is dissected and turned back around on you to make you question yourself on everything you thought was correct.

What people like

- Ability to learn new things
- Time and location flexibility
don’t.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Arizona - September 11, 2023
The leads are too expensive. You pay money to people who sit at home and “tell you what to do,” while simultaneously being told nothing. You are a 1099 employee and are not compensated for travel. You are only paid once the bill is taken from the clients account. You act as a door to door, which isn’t appreciated a lot in 2023. THIS IS A PYRAMID.

100% Commission, training wasn't useful, management was discouraging when you faced hardship.
Benefits Coordinator (Current Employee) - Remote - September 9, 2023
100% Commission based, Lack of structure when 'training', training consists of memorizing scripts which I didn't even end up using, discouragement from management when met with struggle, all required meeting discuss the same things over and over but are strongly encouraged to attend every day. I made NO money while working with the company while following the scripts they eventually made, word for word, while I worked for them.
Pros
Flexible schedule
Cons

Good company
Licensed Insurance Agent (Current Employee) - Miami, FL - August 1, 2023
Very good company if you are looking at a 1099. This is a good company to work for directly not through another agency. Some agencies are pretty bad and some are good

Great Experience
Insurance Specialist (Former Employee) - Remote - July 11, 2023
Great experience overall. I had great training and a great mentor. The only problem I had was the lead threshold. If I went over a certain amount I couldn’t receive anymore leads.

Agent (Former Employee) - Visalia, CA - July 2, 2023
Selling Final Expense to Seniors, leads were sometimes shared. Lots of driving around. Depending on your area, leads could be quite a ways from each other.

Actually a really great company to work for
Agency Associate (Former Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - May 14, 2023
I actually really enjoyed working here. I was in the agency department and enjoyed what I did. I will say that some of the expectations were unrealistic as they did assign more work to the hard workers and let the slackers get away with a lot. One of the managers were also very immature and annoying and didn’t like you if you didn’t suck up to him. The company itself however is very rewarding, fun, and actually cares for their employees.
Pros
Lots of benefits, incentives, and growth opportunities
Cons
Workload much at times, Branden

Amazing Place to work, they care about their agents. they treat us like we are the most important customer.
Insurance Sales Agent (Current Employee) - Cherry Hill, NJ - March 7, 2023
Lincoln Heritage is an amazing cutting edge company who truly cares about their agents. Lincoln Heritage is always striving to be on the front end of technology that helps the agents. Its not for everyone, however if you are looking for a solid opportunity to change you life and your financial future then this is the company for you. No company is perfect, we all have our warts. I believe we get a bad reviews sometimes because, Some agents come in with certain job mentalities and unreal expectations. It also depends on which marketing firm your affiliated with, that makes a huge difference. If you are looking for a legitimate, honest and family run company. Take a look at Lincoln Heritage for your self.
Pros
Great on going training, Great Leads, Amazing compensation, and unique funeral, Program. Health Insurance Benefits.
Cons
Cant cover clients after age 85.

Life Changing Opportunity
Licensed Insurance Agent (Current Employee) - Arkansas - February 2, 2023
Where would you go and what would you do to make $500 a day? If you can truthfully answer those two questions with anywhere and whatever it takes, you can truly make that kind of money with this company. They have every tool that an agent would need to be successful and will issue 99% of the business submitted. Phone calls are answered by friendly, live people every time. Leads are branded, product specific, and compliant. The sales process is simple and can be learned in a matter of days. The culture is phenomenal and everyone across the nation is working towards one goal and one vision, helping protect families with the best final expense plan in the nation. If you have a positive mental attitude, a strong work ethic, and are self-driven, this might be the place for you. However, if you are lazy, negative, and/or have to be told what to do every second of every day this probably isn't the opportunity for you. If you are looking for someone to pay you for showing up and give you a guarantee, even when you don't produce results, just remember, you won't have a good experience. At Lincoln Heritage if you produce the most, you get paid the most. The hardest part of this job is realizing sometimes that you aren't who you thought you were and having to adjust and grow to survive. If you are willing to trust the process, change when you have to, be coachable, teachable, and trainable, and willing to face the reality of your current situation while visualizing and working towards your goals and destination, you will truly become successful and EARN life changing money.
