Small business - focused strategy. Focus on pipeline development and office/personnel expansion. Very much a roll-your-own environment.

Fast track for engineers to succeed but it’s like free climbing for admin, HR, BD. Very poor job culture, pay, work balance, and advancement opportunities.

Nice people all around. Some coworkers value getting work done at the expense of personal time instead of ensuring they have a good work/life balance. Management like you to attend meetings and ask for feedback, but that feedback is usually ignored so I don't see the meaning of attending such meetings.

There are great opportunities to learn more about government contracting but it’s not as fun when you’re supporting manager looks for more new ways to add on more projects and stress. It’s stressful enough to be complaint in all aspects of my duties but to have my manager try and look for more ways for me to innovate the process doesn’t help at all. I felt as though this was not my priority. Which creates animosity immediately. There are times for when to look for ways to innovate the process but if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Peers are great peeps at the company but we’re all just trying to not sink. Linquest is a great company to work for I just particularly feel that my manager needed to change. If my manager does get replaced at some point I would definitely come back. The good part about the company is their ability to attain new awards and provide job security. The bad is that the support and help needed to handle more workload isn’t addressed. If you gain more awards and more manpower is needed then there should be funds provided to help support these new awards. So much for work life balance.

My role as an EA for government entities is a fulfilling position and allows me to provide the needed support to contribute to the mission as a whole.
