Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXAugust 31, 2018
The work environment was less than desirable. Management failed to support the group opportunities for the employees. Only took care of tenured employees.

Great company but since merger to One TX the decisions on Management roles were poor. This was not addressed and continues to allow conflict of interest within departments.
Pros
Company events

Benefits Representative (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXAugust 23, 2018
I worked here for about a year, it was okay. They are a brokerage organization and handle many benefits for different employees. If they lose a contract they will let go of employees.
Pros
Winter Parties
Cons
If contracts are lost then you have no job

Very productive office - you will do the work of 3 employees
Senior Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Scottsdale, AZMay 24, 2018
This is a place that will burn out their employees very quickly. This is a good job for someone in their 20's who has the time and energy to be burned out by 30.
Pros
Open hours
Cons
Too much work for one person and no formal instruction given

Love the people terrible culture
Associate Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MOMay 22, 2018
I loved my peers, however was terribly micromanaged. No matter how good of a job you were told it wasn't enough. You get run into the ground and they expect you to work demanding hours even though they say they don't.

There is constant turnover and management changes. If you have a good manager it is a good experience if they are bad, it is awful.
Pros
Location; People
Cons
Slave Drive Culture

Very Political
Account Executive (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXApril 26, 2018
Some teams work very well together while others do not. Their is very little movement between teams so you have to start on the right team or success will be difficult. The politics is very high behind the scenes. Training is sink or swim for entry level. For mid-level personnel, training is available but scattered and unorganized. It may as well be non-existent.

Account Manager (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMarch 22, 2018
Great benefits and work culture, unfortunately pay and advancement is slow and mediocre. Overall, there are other perks that make up for the lower pay but tough to advance.

Not a lot of room for advancement and grossly underpaid
Account Manager and SME (Current Employee) –  Lenexa, KSMarch 21, 2018
The people that work there are easy going and everyone is for the most part above average in performance but too many clique mentalities. The lesser positions do not mix with the higher and information is hoarded often as secrecy is a crippling issue to even perform the duties of the position. There is a very heavy workload and very little compensation on top of being understaffed and that creates a highly uneven distribution of the work in general.

Fun at times, but primarily focused on meeting numbers. No room for advancement.
Premium Payables Analyst (Current Employee) –  Kansas City, MOMarch 9, 2018
I have enjoyed working at Lockton for a few years, but recently the environment has shifted to a more corporate feel. More focus on meeting certain superficial numbers at the expense of quality work. Trying to squeeze too much work out of too few people, raising the stress level of the job.

Intern (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MOJanuary 26, 2018
Worked in the mail room. Found every aspect of the job to be enjoyable. Management was very helpful and relaxed. The workplace culture was comfortable, relaxed, and we had rushes in the afternoon and morning.
