Typical hotel workplace
Typical hotel workplace. Nothing really special about it. Spent around 1 year there before I was offered another job with better pay and benefits. Would recommend.

The management will deter happiness in the job
The Kansas City Loews hotel looks great on paper, but unfortunately behind closed doors it is ran extremely unprofessionally. The job itself is fun and exciting, but the members of the executive committee and supervisors in my specific department lacked communication, always had different stories, and played favorites. I wouldn’t recommend working here if you’re looking for a long lasting career.

Great place to work employees are like family, but be mindful that this is the hospitality industry and it’s up and down but you are able to cross train in other departments

Great experience!!
I worked here for 2 years staff was great management cared a lot about staff. It was a union position and the benefits were great however it was based on seniority. But overall great experience

Company is good, management is not
This hotel pays the less out of all competitive hotels in the area. F&B payroll is always messed up, everyone is owed money, management doesn’t take it serious . The company itself if a decent company but like always management is always the issue
